Third person POV
Meanwhile, the horse wagon of the fraudsters managed to get out of the city via one of the gates. That group of three was happy that they had gotten away with their scams, and with the money they gained from it. But, it didn't last long, however, because Russell, in his bus, was now chasing them from behind. This is what their assistant had seen. "What is that thing?"
His boss saw that and was shocked and terrified to see that as well. "What the hell?"
Chasing the horse wagon, Russell grabbed his wired and handheld microphone and said through the speakers, "You're not getting away with this, scammers!"
Because of this, the bowtie man went to the front of the horse wagon and said to his traveling salesman employee, "Something is after us! Faster! Faster!"
"What?" his employee replied back.
"A strange carriage of metal is after us! Go faster!"
This time, his employee got alerted and whipped the horses harder, causing them to go faster and faster.
Seeing that, Russell pressed the gas pedal harder, determining to catch them.
Luckily for them, the road was paved, straight, and has a length of 11.3 kilometers, so obstacles like curves wasn't a problem. The road chase went on for a couple of kilometers until, Russell finally got closer to them. In response to that, the bowtie and his assistant tried to distract him by throwing various, small stuff at his bus's windshield. Russell was annoyed by it, but his windshield was really resistant even to the hardest stuff those fraudsters would throw at it.
So, Russell turned to the side and, like those you would find in an actual car chase, collided with the horse wagon with the side of his bus in an attempt to derail it from the road. The three fraudsters were shocked to feel that their horse wagon was getting derailed from the road. Russell continued to do so while being careful not to inflict them too much pain. Then, it worked, and the horse wagon was derailed and fell off the road, tumbling down the gradual hill from it. The three fraudsters were screaming as their horse wagon tumbled. Their horses released a loud neigh as both of them were stuck lying on their right side. The horse wagon had fallen on its right side.
Seeing that his idea had worked, Russell stopped his bus and made turns to turn around. After that, he arrived at the scene and stopped his bus, opening the door. Russell then got off, grabbed a door from one of his bus's baggage compartments, and walked towards the scene. The three fraudsters got out of their ruined, animal-powered vehicle with some bruises, got up, and stood up, slightly injured and frightened. Though his boss and coworker were scared of Russell, the traveling salesman acted tough, grabbed his fancy walking stick, and wielded it like a melee weapon, before charging towards Russell while screaming in toughness and courage.
But, Russell dodged, and the man tried to swing his weapon again, only for his attack to get blocked by Russell's metal door.
Russell then swung his weapon at him, hitting him in the head.
As the traveling salesman collapsed to the ground, Russell looked at the other two scammers.
"You guys are in big trouble for what you did to the people in the city…" he said to them.
Now, the two other fraudsters were afraid of him and his power.
"No, please!"
"Have mercy on us!"
"Oh, really?" Russell raised his eyebrow for a bit while remaining serious with them.
"Yes, we are!" the two other scamming men fell on their knees in front of him in surrendering. "We'll do anything in return!"
Those two bozos even cried in fear and begging.
"Okay then," Russell replied back, "but you will be arrested for your crimes."
The chase was over, and the squad of city guards came to the scene on horseback, only to miss everything and see the three criminals begging in front of the young bus driver.
For his efforts of catching the scammers, Russell had leveled up to Level 14, and he was happy to see that.
