Third person POV
After the cleanup of his bus, Russell put away his damp cloth and sat on the floor of his bus door, waiting for his party and group to come back from their browsing at Fernlay City's trade markets. At this time, he used that waiting time to reflect on his first week in this new world, rating and seeing how things went well and how things went wrong for him. And in that deep thinking of his in the outskirts of the city, he saw that things might go not according to his unrevealed plan, but those really worked out for him almost every time. So, in general, Russell loved his simple life as a bus driver in this fantasy world full of mythical creatures and magic. His favorite part is his adventures with his party and first few friends and his magical abilities that are helpful for his survival in this world. Another thing that he liked is his strange way of killing his enemies by ramming them with his bus literally.
At that, Russell chuckled at that method of killing, calling it very strange and radical. "Man, I'm so brutal to them…Hehe…"
But still, he must consider the consequences of using it before using it on his enemies.
And then, while Russell chuckled at his brutality on his enemies, his party and group came back from the city trade markets with handfuls of stuff, most of them are in a major discount.
"Hey, Russel-kun, we're back!" Azalea said to him happily.
"Man, stuff made by humans can be that good!" Rai exclaimed.
Upon seeing them, Russell stood up. "Oh, hey, guys, you're back."
"Yes, we're back from the markets," Cassius said, before unloading his stuff.
Adrian, Kelly, and others, except for Taryn, Alder, and John, unloaded theirs.
"So, how's the shopping?" Russell asked, before looking at what they had bought recently.
Most of the stuff is cheap peasants' clothes and small and simple household items.
"Wow, look at these…" Russell said to them.
"Yes, those things are at a major discount," Adrian replied happily.
"This month is actually Trading Month for the city," Taryn added.
"So we took advantage of it!" Kelly added as well.
Listening to that, Russell chuckled a bit nervously, before thinking, "Well, she's getting the hang of being and living as a human…"
But, as the others grabbed and looked at the stuff Russell's group had bought, Alder noticed Aeri spying on him and others. Upon being spotted, Aeri hid immediately. But Alder noticed and stood up to go to her. Aeri did her best not to raise any signals to Alder behind the tree, but Alder caught her instead. "What are you doing here, Aeri?" he said to Aeri.
Aeri was startled and looked at him back. "Big brother?!"
"Yeah, it's me, Aeri," Alder responded back a bit seriously.
He then entered in and looked at her. "What you were doing here?"
Looking at him while being a bit nervous, Aeri responded back, "N-Nothing much…"
Alder was suspicious of her body language. "Are you supposed to be with your party now?"
"Yeah, I was, but we got suspended for a week."
Meanwhile, Russell noticed that Alder was taking too long to come back, so he stood up and went to search for him.
Back at the field, Alder was shocked to hear what Aeri had said. "What? Suspended? How and for how long?"
"For a week," Aeri replied back, before continuing in puffed-up anger, "and it's because of one person!"
"Who?" Alder asked with semi-confusion.
Before Aeri would answer back, Russell came and asked, "What is going on here, Alder?" Upon hearing that, Alder and Aeri looked at him and were surprised to see him. "Russell-kun, what is it?" Alder asked him.
But Aeri was puffing up with anger against him and said to Alder, "It was him!"
Alder then looked at her. "What?"
Pointing her finger at Russell for a couple of seconds, Aeri responded back, "It was him! He's the one who ruined my party's reputation and everything!"
Before Alder could say anything, Russell knew what was going on here and revealed to him everything that Aeri and her party did to Adrian.
Aeri was shocked with horror to see that.
Then, Alder was shocked at Russell's eyewitness account and believing that, looked at Aeri with anger in his eyes. "What did you do?!"
Aeri was taken aback by her older half-brother's anger and tried to make excuses to get herself out of that mess.
"No, it's all true, Alder-san," Russell responded boldly to Alder. "She even tried to get back at me by firing an arrow at my back less than an hour ago!"
Alder listened to him and pulled Aeri by her right ear.
"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Aeri responded to this while feeling pain and being pulled by Alder.
"Do you have any idea how much trouble you had caused not just to Adrian," Alder said to her in scolding, "but also to Russell-kun and to your guild as well? Also, you're trying to injure someone with arrows, too!"
Then, he looked at Russell. "I am so sorry for what my foolish younger sister did to you."
"Um, it's okay," Russell responded back. "It wasn't your fault."
Then in his mind. "So both of them are siblings…"
With that, Alder looked at her with intimidation. "That's it, you're coming back home."
Aeri tried to resist his punishment on her, but Alder persisted back.
Seeing all that, Russell wanted to confirm that Alder and Aeri are siblings by blood. So, before Alder and Aeri would leave the area, Russell said to them, "Um, you two, are you two blood-related or something?" Alder and Aeri then looked at him, and Alder replied back, "Yes, but we were half-siblings. We shared the same mom but had different fathers."
Russell got it now. "Oh…"
With that, Alder, still holding Aeri's ear, dragged Aeri towards Fernlay City's urban areas. "Alright then, you're going home."
As Alder did so, Aeri was upset and was forced to walk with him. "Big brother! This is not fair! You're being too mean and everything! Why would you listen to that bastard?"
But Alder tells her to shut up as both of them become farther and farther away.
Russell stood watching them from afar.
"Wow, she is like that though…" the young man thought, before going back to his group's site.
