Third person POV
And then, as he ran through town while carrying the frozen body of the male hooded member, Russell noticed that Callie is in the air pursuing him. "No way!" his mind yelled, knowing that he was now being chased by her.
"Give me that body, you damned kid!" Callie demanded as she chased him down the town street.
Russell didn't listen to her and kept on running for dear life.
Shortly after, he arrived at an assembly hall and opened the door using his left hand, before entering in and shutting the door closed. Inside the empty and dark hall, Russell started walking through the aisle between the long, wooden benches while still carrying the frozen cadaver and then, he arrived at the lowly-elevated stage. There he put the frozen body on it and looked around for his pursuer's presence.
"Where is she?" Russell asked himself in a low voice while breathing heavily for a couple of seconds.
Then, just as he sighed in relief, Callie broke in via the wooden gable of the building, alerting and surprising him off guard.
"Oh, no…" Russell responded to this.
As she levitates towards him, Callie coldly said, "Give me that body."
Russell then stood behind the frozen cadaver in defending it from her. "No way! You won't have this!"
Callie became upset at his insolence. "How dare you defy us, human?"
"No means no! I know what you and your henchmen had been doing to this town."
Callie then smirked at him in response. "Is that so?"
"Y-Yeah, you're behind the pestilence on the farming fields, didn't you?"
Callie then landed in front of his and scoffed. "Yeah, we did, so we could accomplish our goal."
"What goal to be exact?"
Callie didn't answer that and instead, summoned her last two subordinates to come to her. Her two, remaining, hooded subordinates did so by coming into the scene via the hole in the gable and by levitation and sided with her, causing Russell to be terrified of them. But Russell tried to be brave at this.
"Fufu," Callie said to him while chuckling darkly, "now you have to battle us."
Her two subordinates summoned the magics on their hands in preparation for attacking Russell for the frozen body of their fellow member.
Russell then summoned his just in case.
But then, Callie took a good look at his uniform and found it strange and new. "Oh, what are you wearing?"
"Oh, this?" Russell responded, before looking at his bus driver's uniform and back at her. "This is my uniform."
"Your uniform? What are you? A mere messenger for someone? Because some of them have a similar outfit like that."
But being called a mere messenger made Russell cold and angry.
"A mere messenger?" he responded back, before shouting back, "I am a bus driver!"
He summoned a strong and big amount of lightning magic on his right hand, surprising Callie and her two subordinates.
And then, he fired a strong Lightning Throw at them, and this prompted Callie's two hooded squad members to summon a shield of magic to defend themselves and their squad leader.
But the Lightning Throw attack proved to be a bit strong for their magical shield to handle, so it broke through it and electrocuted both members moderately, but it was with severe pain.
As both of her subordinates fell off the stage unconscious, Callie was shocked while being upset to see that. "What the…?"
"You shouldn't call me like that," Russell said to her while looking at her seriously, "I may be an ordinary bus driver, but I can do more than that."
Callie was furious, and Russell summoned more lightning magic into his right hand.
"Go on, fight me," the boy in uniform said to her.
But, not risking being injured severely by the young lightning magic user, Callie instead levitated and said to him, "Hmph! Maybe next time, kid. Please wait for my retribution against you. I'll let you get away with this." She then left the building via the hole she had made in the gable earlier, abandoning her intention of retrieving her member's frozen body. Russell was stunned with shock that she just ran away from the scene instead of fighting him. "What the…? Hey!"
He then ran through the aisle and then outside to catch her, but it was too late.
Callie flew off through the night, leaving the town behind, as well as her squad being captured by Russell and the others.
Because of that, Russell decided to accept her response and went back inside to the frozen cadaver of the male hooded member.
Also after that, Russell had leveled up to Level 12, and his rank was now at AA, much to his surprise.
