Third person POV
Later, along the way to Fernlay City, the passengers were amazed on how fast the bus was while sitting on their seats comfortably. Russell was driving happily with attention to the road and way ahead of him. His party and group were positive, except that Adrian slept on his seat due to a bit of exhaustion. Cassius and his friends were behind them on horseback following them. Then, the bus took a left turn at an intersection. Russell knew that intersection from his encyclopedia and knew that going to the left leads to Fernlay City while going to the right leads to the border with another kingdom called Batela.
Meanwhile, at the same time, back at Leafmight, the Elai party went out during their suspension period, wanting to do something and even, try to seek vengeance against Russell for tarnishing their reputation. Being suspended means they are not allowed to go in quests. So, the party decided to wander south of the town, going south from it towards somewhere in the south to pass the time. Denali and her father didn't even know their intentions at all.
Meanwhile, Russell and his entourage had arrived at Fernlay City at 11:29 a.m., and they entered the city's urban areas. Fernlay City is also known as the City of Crafts. There the city was busy and crowded, with the main street partially crowded with people and stalls. Luckily, the street was still navigable enough for Russell's bus to go through. Russell's efforts had paid off.
Russell and his group were amazed to see all that, with Adrian being enthusiastic about going around within its perimeters.
The passengers were stunned to arrive there in just a fraction of the time.
Then, Russell found a spot next to the sidewalks and opened the door. "Okay, everyone, we're here."
Cassius and his horse-riding group stopped behind the bus.
Russell then looked at the passengers. "Alright, that'll be 4 gold coins each of you, please."
The passengers were stunned to hear such a cheap fare.
So, all of them stood up, grabbed their belongings, and went to the front.
Before getting off, they paid for their fares to Russell.
After that, those 9 people got off with their belongings and went to their day in the city.
Cassius and his group were stunned to see that the passengers had gotten off in their destination.
Russell had earned 36 gold coins.
Also, for this route, the young bus driver gained some points in his current level, and much to his joy his efforts paid off, too.
