Far away on the artificial planet Galaxia, Tim stood before the council. Tim was very respected among the Izigans because of his skills and abilities. He had earned a senior rank, making him one of the most powerful Izigans to have ever lived.
Each of the nine council members sat on a high metallic seats.
Tim wore his black and white tech suit, signifying he was from the Umbra clan.
"Tim Airel, you said you have been studying the Void since its first appearance. We would like you to share what you know about this unknown entity that poses such a threat," Lord Ember said.
"Sorry to have drawn you from your previous mission. We knew you were making huge progress on that one, but this Void thing—you were the one who named it The-Void. Tell us more about it?" Diana asked.
"The-Void is without form. It doesn't have a specific body. It's a gaseous form, cosmic entity. It needs a host to use its cosmic powers. Moreover, this unknown entity doesn't belong to our dimension or universe," Tim explained.
"What proof do you have of that? How can you tell this entity doesn't belong here? And secondly, are you also saying there are other realities beyond us, like other universes?" Lord Ember asked.
"Good thing I have proof, and as we speak, our universe is colliding with another. Nine years ago, on a mission in Egypt, there was a case of a eight-year-old boy who appeared in a town, having no memories of his past. It's interesting because he didn't have any memory of the previous day either. The day I met him was the day he suddenly appeared in that town. I was lucky to meet him first. He was looking lost, and I had to ask him where his parents were...
---
"Then he said he didn't know who he was or where he is. I took him for some examing and discovered that his organs were slightly different from a normal human's. What blocked part of his memory was impenetrable, and after a while, his body began to fade in reality as his cells were still trying to stabilize to this reality. Because he didn't belong to this reality, he was losing his memory and feeling displaced. All symptoms of passing through the Fourth Dimensional Medium without knowing, or by an external force," Tim explained.
"So, what is the relation with this and The Void?" Remi asked.
"When the Furious Three first encountered The Void at First Contact, we discovered that the vessel he was using at the time was an alien creature. It's body began to give way.
---
It was its first time possessing a living being, and that was where it then took the body of-"
"Don't say his name! We know what happened. So what happened after that?" Remy said as he interrupted Tim. Everyone looked at him, realizing why he didn't want Tim to mention his name.
"Well, I tried trapping it in a construct reality, but it slipped through. The construct reality was an alternate version of this reality. Trapping it would not be possible because it was still trying to stabilize in this reality. From what he said that day, it was like he didn't have any memory of himself in his previous reality, but it was looking like he could remember only a little as he looked around.
But now we don't know its purpose and why it is targeting the Vixen Izigans and the Vixen's family. That reason is yet unknown," Tim said.
---
"If what you are saying is true, what do you think is the only way, or possible ways, to tame this thing?" Ava asked.
"We used the construct reality again. That should be what would be more effective on him," Tim said.
"I thought you said-" Ember began, but Tim interrupted him.
"That's because at that time he was still stabilizing to the reality. Since he is from another dimension, elements of an alternate dimension created here would be more effective on it."
"If that's so, we would have to use what we have to tame this thing once and for all. We have that power. Tim, you have one of the most powerful construct realities. We would like you to go on the next mission in taming The-Void. Sadly, Remy lost his son because of that thing some years ago. We have been monitoring the movements of The-Void. Stella will give you the details on The-void's movements so far, you can also contact the sector unit too." Lord Orion said.
---
"I will take the mission," Tim said while taking a small bow.
"We are sorry about your sub-sector members. We heard what happened to them all on planet Delak during your mission before now. It was a tragedy indeed. Glad you are safe," Lord Orion said.
"Thank you, My Lord," Tim said as he walked out of the place.
As Tim walked out of the place, the others continued their conversation.
"Lord Orion, are you certain about this?" Liam asked, concern evident in his voice. "We have been tracking a similar event for a while now. His cosmic energy is out of balance, since he lost the entire sub-sector at plant Dalak, he had to rely on is yang cosmic energy to get here."
"Tim has never failed to surprise us! I understand that the yin and yang cosmic form might be out of balance or slightly off balance, but he is able to perform cosmic techniques. Be it didn't detract from his physical strength, Tim knows his limit; he knows what he has to face," Lord Orion said.
---
"I understand your concerns, Liam, but Tim has always risen to the challenge," Lord Orion reassured. "His yin and yang cosmic form might be off balance, but his strength and skills are unparalleled. He has made a name for himself he will never be forgotten"
"Thank you, My Lord," Liam said, though the worry didn't leave his eyes.
"We need to trust in Tim's abilities," Lord Orion said firmly. "He has never failed us before."
As Tim made his way through the corridors, he couldn't help but think about the mission ahead. He knew the risks, but he was determined to succeed. The fate of the world depends on the decision he made.
---
"That's not the main thing now; the sudden attack on Sub-Sector Unit 0.9, every member was killed by something unknown and it still remained a mystery. I wonder how Tim would react to that," Liam said with a lot of concern.
Meanwhile, in Earth, Derek just reached his home after the incident he had witnessed with Dave in the woods. Dave had regained consciousness and they both went their separate ways, Dave did saved him.
Derek, on the other hand, wasn't really safe as well as he grew up seeing his mom always beaten up by his dad and every time he attempts to help her he also got beaten up too. This time when he came back he actually met his mom on the ground, held down by his dad. His mom was bleeding and was in a terrible shape. Derek ran with the little strength left in him and carried his dad away from his mom and they both fell on the floor. Derek's dad, who was insanely strong, freed himself from Derek's grip and kicked him across the room.
Derek's dad looked at his wife who was about escaping to the nearest room. He began kicking her as she began to scream in pain. Derek looked at this and then ran and jumped on him, which his dad pushed off easily.
"Stop, Stop! Leave my mother alone! Leave her alone!" Derek screamed. Suddenly, a hard blow struck his head, making him slightly unconscious. He saw his father holding a broken glass, ready to stab his mother.
In an instant, a flash of red lightning struck around the house and then into it. The clouds outside were already dark and ominous. Derek's father was shocked to see Derek transform, holding the broken glass in front of him. His eyes glowed red, and red markings appeared around his body. The atmosphere grew dense and the room darkened due to the clouds, making Derek's transformation clear as he glowed red.
"I said, leave my mother alone!" Derek shouted, his voice sounding like six people speaking at once. His body was enveloped in red lightning. He swiftly moved his lightning-covered hands and delivered a thundering punch to his father, sending him flying across the room. His father slammed into the wall, which cracked, and he fell unconscious.
As Derek began to return to his normal state of mind, he felt dizzy. He looked around in shock and then at his arms, seeing the izigan markings on them and his body.
"What just happened? What is this?" Derek asked in confusion, moving slowly. His mother watched him closely until he fell unconscious. She caught him just before he hit the ground.
"Thank you, Derek. I always knew there was something special about you," his mother said, holding him close.
