Chapter 8 - Chapter 6!

Mila slowly let go of her mom's feet and fiddles with her fingers because she knows if her mother finds out that she's been talking with ghosts and also hearing the screams of a little girl. Mila didn't want the exorcist to get rid of them because her grandma had made them suffer enough.

She made Marlene trust her; Mila didn't want to repeat her promise. Before anything, Amy opened the door, and Mila sighed and sat on the sofa, still playing with her fingers.

The exorcist looked around the house, then at Mila—-- "You come here," she said. Mila looked at him weirdly and saw Marlene grimly smiling at the lady.

Marlene approached the lady and looked back at Mila; "Don't do anything to her! She's not a bad guy," Mila said.

"Little girl, they're not at all our friends; she's only here for revenge," the young woman said.

"I mean, if your soul was stolen and your whole family became trapped under a despicable yet horrid curse," Mila replied.

Amy quickly intervenes and tells her daughter to stay quiet. "Mila, I think Kassidy knows what to do, so behave yourself," she says. Mila says nothing and heads upstairs to her room, closing the door.

I sat on the floor and listened closely but didn't hear anything. I just heard the little girl's screams. I closed my eyes, hoping it would, but it intensified. And I opened my eyes once, and there was a doll in front of me.

It wasn't one of the Victorian dolls Grandma Agatha kept in the room, but it looked like me, and her dress was similar to mine. I picked up the doll and ran down.irs; "Stop, you can't rt Marlene!" I said.

I held out the doll, and my mom was shocked because it was similar to mine. Then, suddenly, she felt a need, and I ran to her. However, before I could run towards her, it was as if the doll's spirit had possessed me.

Then, I dropped the doll, and everything seemed so s. That's when I realized I wasn't a man but a doll.

Before Kassidy could grasp what was happening, Marlene took the doll and disappeared. Mila didn't process the fact that she had become a doll, and she opened her eyes and discovered she was inside a cave.

"You'll be safe here!" Marlene said.

Marlene called out for her mom, who came out puzzled because Mila was a doll.

"What happened to her?" Her mom asked.

"Her mom called someone to get rid of me because she hadn't been sleeping, and she is starting to have dark circles," Marlene responded.

"So, now, she's a doll?" Her mom questioned.

"I believed it was Paulina who turned her like this because every time I'm not with her, she seems distracted," Marlene said.

"Don't utter her name, Marlene Katrina Caldwell," Her mom said.

Then, they heard a peal of menacing laughter from a dark corner. "Hide the child!" her mom whispered.
