Chapter 18 - The Trenchi Bridge Mission - 6

"Here, take this!" Sakura said, handing Sai his drawing book. "It's yours, right?"

"Thank you!" Sai replied, accepting it from her.

"You were following Danzo's orders, weren't you?" Sakura continued. "We know Danzo and Orochimaru have teamed up, and they're planning something big. You were chosen to be their go-between, so tell us, what are they planning?"

There was a brief silence as everyone waited.

"Orochimaru is predictable. He wants to destroy the Leaf Village again, doesn't he?" Yamato asked.

"It's not like that, but I'm sorry, I'm bound to follow Lord Danzo's order and I can't tell you anything more about his plans." Sai replied

"Is that true ? Or you're hiding something else ?!" Sakura asked.

Sai doesn't speak , and keeps his ugly smile in his face throughout the time.

"Someone is coming this way." I said

"Who ?" Sakura asked.

"It seems , it's Kabuto. I'll handle him, wait a second." I said , as I teleported myself in front of Sai, "You'll sleeping for sometime." I said , as I tapped at his forehead as he falls unconscious.

I immediately tie his hands with , curse technique that I used before, "He'll be like this for sometime."

"Yes, But what did you do ?" Yamato asked.

"I used a precise burst of chakra to disrupt his neural signals temporarily," I explained. "It's a technique that puts him to sleep instantly without causing any harm."

"That would need a lot of chakra and very precise chakra control" Yamato said

"Yes. And I only put as much as needed." I said, "Now, We need to take him outside, before Kabuto reaches here"

"But , How ? Won't he see us ?" Sakura questioned.

"Don't worry, I've got it covered," I said, activating the Flying Raijin seal I had placed outside the base earlier. "Everyone, hold on tight. We're getting out of here."

In an instant, we reappeared at the location where I had previously marked the seal, outside the base.

Before entering, I put a flying raijin seal just outside the base, for any narrow escape, It worked out well.

Sakura and Yamato looked around, wide-eyed and momentarily disoriented. "What just happened?" Sakura gasped.

"How did you do that?" Yamato added, clearly astonished.

"It's the Flying Raijin technique," I explained. "A teleportation jutsu that allows me to instantly move to a marked location."

Sakura shook her head in amazement. "Naruto, your abilities... they're incredible."

"Thanks, but we don't have time for that now," I said, focusing back on Sai. "We need to secure Sai and make sure he can't escape or signal Danzo."

I placed a sealing tag on Sai's unconscious body, reinforcing the bindings with a complex Fuinjutsu. "This will keep him contained and unable to communicate," I explained.

Yamato quickly assessed our surroundings. "Looks clear for now," he noted.

Sakura sighed in relief. "Good, but we can't stay here for long. Kabuto will realize Sai is missing soon."

"Agreed," I said. "We'll move to a secondary location. But first, we need to secure Sai and make sure he can't escape or signal Danzo."

I placed a sealing tag on Sai's unconscious body, reinforcing the bindings with a complex Fuinjutsu. "This will keep him contained and unable to communicate," I explained.

Sakura glanced at Sai with a mix of frustration and concern. "I just hope we can get some answers out of him when he wakes up."

"We will," I assured her.

"Well, he needs to wake up before we can ask him anything," Yamato said.

"It'll take a while. I can't say how long exactly; it varies from person to person according to their strength. For Sai, it might take some time," I replied.

"Until then..." Sakura began but was cut off when someone threw a kunai at us. We quickly dodged and saw Kabuto landing in front of Sai.

"My, my... I thought we managed to escape you, but since you're one of Lord Orochimaru's experiments, I should've known better," Kabuto said. He glanced at Sai and added, "Oh, he's unconscious and tied up too."

Kabuto smirked, adjusting his glasses. "Impressive, Naruto. But do you really think you can keep Sai from Lord Danzo and Lord Orochimaru?"

I stepped forward. "What do you think you're doing here? You don't want to die, do you?"

"Let's find out," Kabuto said, throwing a bunch of kunai at me.

I dodged them easily and got closer to him. Kabuto tried to slash at me with chakra scalpels, but I blocked him and punched him in the stomach, knocking him down.

Kabuto got up, looking furious. "This isn't over!"

"it's over." Saying I activated the Adamantine Sealing Chains as chains came out of my back and wrapped around Kabuto, holding him in place. "You're not going anywhere," I said.

Kabuto's eyes widened. "These chains... How—"

"Doesn't matter," I put him down with the chains wrapping him.

"You..." Kabuto tried to speak.

"Don't talk," I said. "I didn't kill you because taking you back to the village is our mission. Otherwise, I could end you with a single thought."

"Naruto, this..." Yamato began.

"I'm an Uzumaki, remember? It's my clan's technique," I said.

Yamato looked at Kabuto. "Are you sure those chains will hold him?"

"They will," I assured him. "They're used to capture and control tailed beasts. He's not even 1% as strong as a tailed beast."

"When did you learn to do this?" Sakura asked.

"During my training over the years," I replied as I wrapped Kabuto in chains. "Looks like you need some rest too," I added, tapping his forehead to knock him out.

After a while, I removed the chains from Kabuto and used the Yellow curse technique to tie his hands.

"I think it's time to go," Yamato said.

"Go? But..." Sakura started.

"Our mission was to capture the Akatsuki spy, Kabuto, and we did that," Yamato explained.

"Yes, but... Sasuke!" Sakura exclaimed.

We have two choices now. First, we can leave with Kabuto since we've completed our mission. Or, second, we can keep going and try to find Sasuke.

So, what's it going to be?
