On a sunny afternoon,
I went to the Konoha hospital to see Kakashi-sensei. Granny said he would feel better in about a week, and now a week has passed, so he should be all fine.
As I walked down the street, I bumped into Sakura. She shouted, "Hey, Naruto!"
"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked. I saw Sai standing next to her. "You too?" I asked him.
"Hi, Naruto!" Sai said.
"I was just teaching Sai about feelings and personality," Sakura explained. "Anyway, where are you going?"
"It's been a while since I last saw Kakashi-sensei, so I'm going to visit him at the hospital," I replied.
"I was planning to do the same. Let's go together," she suggested.
"If that's what you want!" I replied.
"Would it be okay if I joined you both?" Sai asked.
"Sure, why not?!" Sakura said, and I nodded in agreement.
"What!?" I exclaimed as I noticed Sai staring at me.
"Nothing, I just read in a book that to help people feel comfortable around you, it's good to call them casually or use a nickname. So, I was thinking of a nickname for you," Sai explained. "I don't think I have one yet.
"There's no need to rush; we have plenty of time. But, I think we should head to the hospital now," I said. Sakura nodded, and we started walking towards the Konoha hospital.
At the hospital...
"Hey, Kakashi-sensei!" I greeted, stepping into his room.
"Naruto, Sakura, great to see you both!" Kakashi said, closing the book he was reading.
"So, you're the new team member? Sai, right? Nice to meet you," Kakashi asked Sai.
"Nice to meet you too, sir," Sai replied.
"So, I hope the team is getting along well," Kakashi said. "I heard about your mission."
"Yeah, it was a failure despite all our hard work," I admitted.
"No, I don't mean that. According to what Lord Jiraiya and Yamato told me, you, Naruto, showed excellent skill during the fight against Kabuto and Sasuke," Kakashi said.
"I guess I did. But I completely lost sight of the mission and let them get away," I replied.
"You did well. That's what matters. The question is, do you have confidence in yourself to bring Sasuke back?" he asked.
"Yes, without a doubt. But I think we should focus on protecting the village and dealing with the Akatsuki threat first," I said.
"I see. That's an impressive thought," Kakashi said as he looked at Sakura. "What do you think, Sakura?"
"Although I believe bringing Sasuke back to the village is still a priority, I think Naruto is right. We should also focus on the Akatsuki issue," Sakura replied.
"Yeah, I'm thinking about starting training from tomorrow onwards," I said.
"Good. But, as much as I'd like to help, I don't think you need my assistance at your current level," Kakashi said. "Plus, I will need some time to go on missions with the team."
"Maybe I can help you with that!" I offered.
"Help me? What do you mean?" Kakashi asked, looking puzzled.
"I think I can help you with your Sharingan using Fuinjutsu," I explained.
"Fuinjutsu...?" Kakashi repeated, intrigued.
"Yes. Did you never thought about Fuinjutsu to deactivate the eyes before ?" I said
"That..." He Tried to speak , but his looks tell me that he never thought about it in his life and hearing it first time
"Anyways, I studied about it, and I know a way where you'll be able to deactivate your eyes". I said
"Wait... When did you learn Fuinjutsu?" He asked.
"It's a secret, I would like to keep to myself." I said, "I have made some seals for your eyes ,and I tested them many times"
"You've tested them ?" He asked.
"Yeah , I tested them on my eyes!" I said, "Anyways, you need to lay down for me to work!" I said
"It's getting dark outside , I should leave now , then!". Sakura said
"Yeah, I should be leaving as well!" Sai said, as they both bid farewell to Kakashi and left.
I bring out the seal I made and I walked towards Kakashi-sensei, "I was working on some Fuinjutsu, mixing the ideas from the [Eight-Trigram Seal] and some basic sealing techniques. The plan was to make your Sharingan work only when you opened your eye." I said
I used some hand seals, and kanji appeared on my fingers: [Compress], [Amplify], [Seal], [Release]. I used the [Eight-Trigram Seal] idea the most in this jutsu. The four kanji combined into one on my palm, showing Compress, Amplify, Seal, and Release all together.
I sat down next to Kakashi-sensei. "Sensei, this might hurt a bit."
He nodded, ready.
"Seal!" I said, pushing all my chakra into his left eye.
Kakashi-sensei's right eye widened, and he screamed, "Arggggghhhhhhh!"
"Don't move, Kakashi-sensei! If you move, the seal will mess up and crush your eye!"
Kakashi-sensei grabbed the bedsheet, trying to handle the pain.
After a minute, the pain eased up, and I pulled my hand away. "Phew... Are you really a Jounin, sensei? You can't even handle a little pain."
Kakashi-sensei glared at me, thinking, 'How's that Little pain ? Even being attacked by S-rank Jutsu would hurt less than that" he said
"You're overreacting , So? How's the seal, sensei?" I asked, curious about how he felt.
Kakashi-sensei seemed surprised. "It feels great... It's been a long time since I felt this way."
"Try opening it," I suggested.
He opened his eye, and the Sharingan started draining his chakra again. Then he closed it. "Feels great. It still activates the Sharingan when I open it and cuts the connection between my body and the eye when I close it."
I nodded, satisfied. "That's good to hear."
Kakashi-sensei smiled. "At this rate, I'll probably recover tomorrow or the next day" he said
"Good. Still, you need to rest for now, I'll leave now sensei!" I said , as I said farewell to him and left the hospital.
