"Continuous effort—not strength or intelligence—is the key to unlocking our potential."

- Winston Churchill

Zack narrowed his eyes, ignoring the taunt. He knew Daniel was right. His iron boxing had become strong, but Daniel's ability to adapt made him hard to corner.

Still, Zack wasn't backing down. He adjusted his stance, his demeanor shifting to one of complete calmness. He was focused, precise, and patient, the key qualities drilled into him during the fake monk training.

Without warning, Zack dashed forward, zigzagging to confuse Daniel. He feinted a jab to the head and then dropped low, delivering a powerful body blow to Daniel's ribs. This time, the hit landed clean, and Daniel staggered slightly.

Zack followed up with a series of heavy punches aimed at breaking Daniel's defenses. For the first time, Daniel wasn't blocking as easily.

Just when Zack thought he had him, Daniel grinned and grabbed his wrist mid-punch. With a swift motion, he twisted Zack's arm behind his back and swept his legs, slamming him to the ground, ready to punch him.

But Zack's strength suddenly surged, and he threw Daniel off, immediately following up with an attack. Daniel slid across the ground and launched a punch, but Zack weaved around it effortlessly.

Daniel tried to mimic Zack's movements but found something: 'I don't copy him?'

He couldn't copy the boxer precisely, Zack's new boxing technique was something only his body could execute!

Bam!

An uppercut landed on Daniel's chin, his teeth grinding as he locked eyes with Zack. Without wasting time, Zack unleashed even more hits and kicks.

He was using kicks now, too!

Daniel smiled, deciding to let his body absorb the blows, increasing his durability. He took a punch cleanly to the face and returned one in kind.

The two traded punches, kicks, and elbows, each hit powerful, neither caring about dodging, their smiles never leaving their faces.

Until applause echoed as Gongseob made his presence known.

Pat, pat, pat.

"You've both improved a lot in these past two months. I have nothing more to teach you," Gongseob said as he walked toward them.

Zack looked at him and asked, "What? You don't have anything left to teach us?"

He felt a bit sad, having come to appreciate the teachings of this strange monk. Daniel exited his Ultra Instinct state, smiling.

"Well, it makes sense. In the end, to reach the top, experience is essential," Daniel said.

Gongseob nodded and patted Zack's shoulder. "You two can spend the rest of the month sparring against each other. I'll give you some tips, but the rest is in your hands."

Zack nodded, smiling. "Thanks, teacher."

....

Days passed after Zack and Daniel had a spar, and from that day the two continued to have fun beating each other, continuously improving.

On the other side of the country, inside the circus, we can see a single ring where two individuals are fighting each other without clothes, the spectators around them were cheering continuously with thier faces covered by masks.

Baam!

Sinu staggered to his feet, wiping a trickle of blood from the corner of his mouth. His eyes locked onto Jinho, a flicker of frustration crossing his face before quickly fading into calm resolve. He knew Jinho wasn't an opponent he could take lightly.

Jinho stood a few meters away, his cold, emotionless eyes sizing Sinu up. In his hand, he twirled another makeshift weapon, this time, a jagged shard of metal, stained with blood from past battles. His grip was firm, his posture relaxed, but there was a deadly precision in the way he moved, always prepared to strike at the first opportunity.

Sinu adjusted his stance, lowering his center of gravity, he was ready to pummel Jinho with kicks using his mastery.

Suddenly, without warning, Sinu vanished from his spot, appearing behind Jinho in an instant. A kick whipped through the air, aimed directly at the back of Jinho's head. But Jinho, anticipating the move, spun his body just in time, the shard of metal in his hand slicing towards Sinu's leg.

Clang!

The metal clashed with Sinu's shin, but the kick was so fast and powerful that Jinho was forced to retreat a few steps to maintain his balance. Sinu wasted no time, launching a rapid series of kicks from different angles, each one faster than the last. His feet blurred as they aimed for Jinho's ribs, face, and knees in quick succession.

Jinho, unfazed by the flurry of kicks, used his weapon and reflexes to block most of them, but a few slipped through, bruising his body. His face remained emotionless as he assessed the situation. Every time Sinu attacked, Jinho could feel the air shifting. It was all about timing. Sinu's speed was dangerous, but his predictability in always exploiting blind spots gave Jinho a slight edge.

'Ohh.. imma slice you apart..' Jinho though calmly waiting for his opportunity.

In the middle of a barrage, Jinho feigned a stumble, deliberately exposing his side. Sinu, seeing an opening, moved in with a spinning heel kick aimed at Jinho's ribs.

Swish!

Jinho ducked at the last moment, evading the kick entirely. As Sinu spun mid-air to follow up, Jinho took advantage, stepping in close. With one swift movement, he jabbed the shard of metal into Sinu's thigh.

Shhhk!

Sinu grunted in pain, his body instinctively pulling back. Blood dripped from the wound, but Sinu didn't give in. Instead, he gritted his teeth and launched another kick towards Jinho's temple, this one even faster than before.

Crack!

The kick landed cleanly, sending Jinho staggering back, but instead of collapsing, he smiled slightly. The force had split his lip, blood trickling down his chin, but his expression didn't waver. He had taken far worse. His body had been shaped by constant pain and brutality in the underground, making him practically numb to it.

Jinho licked the blood from his lip, his eyes still focused on Sinu. He gripped the bloody metal shard tightly in one hand, while his other hand hovered near the ground, ready to pick up any debris that could be used as a weapon.

His fighting style was hood like, a mix of weapon fighting and dirty tactics that always catches his opponents off guard.
