"To endure is greater than to dare; to tire out hostile fortune; to be daunted by no difficulty; to keep heart when all have lost it, who can say this is not greatness?"
- William Makepeace Thackeray

Sinu shifted his stance again, but this time, he was favoring his injured leg. His kicks had lost some of their edge, but his speed mastery was still intact. He disappeared again, reappearing at Jinho's blind spot and attempting a low sweep to take his legs out from under him.
Jinho anticipated it. He spun on his heel, hurling the metal shard in the direction of the sweep. Sinu dodged it, but in the moment of hesitation, Jinho scooped up a handful of dirt from the arena floor and flung it straight into Sinu's eyes.
"Argh!" Sinu shouted, stumbling back as the dirt temporarily blinded him. He swiped at his eyes, but it was too late.
Jinho was already closing in.
With a quick lunge, Jinho tackled Sinu to the ground, his elbow smashing into Sinu's chest. As Sinu struggled to regain his footing, Jinho delivered a swift knee to his side, targeting the fresh wound on his thigh.
Sinu groaned, his body convulsing in pain, but he wasn't finished yet. With pure instinct, he spun on his back and kicked upward with all his strength, landing a blow on Jinho's ribs, forcing him to back off.
The two fighters staggered back to their feet, both breathing heavily, their bodies bruised and bloodied. Sinu's speed had kept him in the fight, but Jinho's ruthless, dirty tactics and weapon use had leveled the playing field.
Despite the pain, both men had a gleam in their eyes. Neither one was willing to give up.
Jinho, without missing a beat, picked up another jagged piece of metal from the ground. Sinu wiped the dirt from his eyes and readjusted his stance, ready for the next round.
Jinho smiled sadistically while eyeing Sinu like a predator, he knew that this was a battle to decide the strongest here, like Sinu understood.
But neither of them was planning to lose.
Sinu's breathing grew steadier as he wiped the last of the dirt from his eyes. His gaze locked on Jinho, and something changed. His movements became even faster, sharper, his speed reaching a level far beyond what Jinho had encountered before.
The air around him seemed to distort, and before Jinho could even react, Sinu vanished.
BAM!
A blow landed squarely on Jinho's side, sending him skidding across the arena floor. His body slammed into the ground with a thud, but before he could even process the pain, Sinu appeared again.
CRACK!
A kick connected with Jinho's face, blood spraying from his mouth as he was sent crashing into the corner. His mind reeled, trying to keep up, but Sinu's speed was now on an entirely different level. It was as if he had completely erased the gap between their skill.
Jinho struggled to his feet, but Sinu was relentless. He darted around Jinho like a phantom, striking from all directions, each hit landing with bone-crushing force. Kicks to the ribs, punches to the head, Jinho couldn't even block half of them. He was getting pummeled.
Blood dripped down Jinho's face, his vision blurred from the repeated blows. Yet, despite the overwhelming pain, he stood his ground, his expression unchanging. He was no stranger to suffering, and his body had been hardened in the most brutal conditions. Still, even he couldn't endure much more of this.
Sinu reappeared in front of him, a vicious roundhouse kick aimed at Jinho's head.
Boom!
Jinho's body slammed into the ground, dust and debris flying into the air. He lay there, gasping for breath, his muscles screaming in agony. For a moment, it seemed like it was over.
But something inside him clicked.
As he lay on the cold, blood-stained floor, his mind drifted back to his training with Daniel. The relentless beatings, the endless hours of pain and endurance. Each time he was knocked down, he had stood back up. Each time he was broken, he had rebuilt himself stronger.
Then in his vision Daniel appeared and spoke to him: "Yo lill man, are you ready to give up and dress up like a bitch? If not get the fuck up!"
Jinho's eyes slowly opened, and a faint green glow began to emanate from them.
[Durability Mastery.]
He gritted his teeth and pushed himself off the ground, his muscles trembling but refusing to give in. His body had been hardened beyond its limits. The pain that once crippled him was now a familiar companion.
The glow in his eyes intensified as he raised his head to face Sinu, who was now standing a few meters away, breathing heavily from the effort of his onslaught. Sinu narrowed his eyes, sensing the shift in Jinho's demeanor. This was no longer the same opponent he had been clapping moments before.
With a roar, Sinu shot forward, his speed blurring him out of sight once again. But this time, Jinho was ready.
As Sinu's kick came barreling toward him, Jinho didn't dodge. He planted his feet firmly on the ground and took the blow head-on. The impact was tremendous, but Jinho didn't budge. His body, now enhanced by his newfound durability mastery, absorbed the full force of the kick.
Sinu's eyes widened in shock. Jinho's body barely flinched.
Taking advantage of the momentary surprise, Jinho's hand shot forward with lightning speed. His fingers gripped a piece of broken metal from the ground, and with all his remaining strength, he drove the sharp edge into Sinu's abdomen.
Shhk!
Sinu gasped, his body freezing as he felt the cold steel cut deep into his flesh. Blood oozed from the wound, staining the ground beneath them.
Jinho's expression didn't change. With his eyes glowing green, he stayed locked onto Sinu's as he pulled the jagged metal out, leaving a deep, jagged scar across Sinu's abdomen.
He managed to mark this battle into Sinu but the cost of that attack had drained Jinho. His body, though hardened and resilient, had limits. He staggered back, his legs barely holding him up. Sinu, though bleeding and wounded, was still standing strong.
The two fighters faced each other, breathing heavily, their bodies battered and bruised. Blood dripped from their wounds, pooling around their feet, but neither was willing to back down.
Sinu clutched his abdomen, his face contorting in pain. He looked down at the wound, then back at Jinho. Despite the injury, he couldn't help but speak. "I can't fall here.. i need.. to save.. Big Deal!"
Before Jinho could react, Sinu's body blurred again. He moved with the highest speed he could muster, striking Jinho.
BAM!
The final blow landed directly on Jinho's chest, sending him flying across the arena. He crashed into the ground, his body limp and unmoving.
Sinu stood there, panting heavily, clutching his abdomen. The scar on his body was bleeding profusely, but he had won. He looked down at Jinho, who lay unconscious on the ground, his body covered in blood and bruises.
