The day after Cassandra announced that she was stepping down was a busy one on Stella and Arthur's end. They spent most of the hours of the day soliciting for support from the board members, with the share holders it was quite easy because she had a good number of them in her pocket.
Feeling satisfied that the majority had promised to support her son, she advised him to extend an olive branch to his brother as well just to keep him in check.
"You know what they say. Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer, it'll be best if you know what he is upto at all time." She advised Arthur who was unwilling to comply to her request.
"Why mom? You said you know the skeletons hidden in his closet just black mail him. I don't want to do this." He shuffled his feet like a little kid, his reaction had his mother who was standing close to him extend her hand to his ear.
