Beep'
A message alert popped up on Luna's phone as she drove to the King's Country club.
She was very familiar with the place because she had been there countless times in her previous life.
It was a luxurious place where only the top elite of society spent their free time.
One would only get membership through recommendation by a club member even if you could afford the exorbitant membership fee.
The valet dressed in black and white humbly took her keys and disappeared with her white sedan, as she walked into the tall magnificent building.
The receptionist was kind enough to direct her to the private massage parlor where her client had told her to meet her in the message earlier.
She camly waited in the lobby of the massage parlor although she hated every minute she spent there.
Shay had cautioned her that she had to take it easy when dealing with these rich snobs.
"No matter what they do, just keep calm afterall they pay alot of money for your services. Besides you don't want to piss off the black mamba."
Luna was perplexed that this black mamba had never communicated with her since she had risen from the from the dead.
'I guess to him am just another money making machine.'
She however felt like her priorities from those of the previous host were different although she had to keep up appearances.
BEEP'
She pulled out her phone and read a message from Raki.
-
Mrs Megan Robinson is the CEO of the King's gallery, she mostly hungs out at the King's Country Club where she's worshiped and queen of the place. Everyone wants to ingratiate themselves in her good graces.
-
As luck would draw it she was at the right place. Luna knew that she needed a recommendation to get in and asking Logan was out of the question. She didn't want him to know that she was after his wife.
The squeaky laughter that suddenly reverberated the room snapped her out of her thoughts.
An older woman whose back was turned to her was giggling childishly with a very young man, to her they appeared to be mom and son.
Luna recognized the woman immediately the moment she turned to her front and her very red lips smiled at her.
"How are you darling, it's been a while, I heard you were taking a break, it's good you're back. Now as usual I need you to find out if this one is after my money too." Stella Robinson made herself comfortable in the sofa pulling the young man down next to her.
She gawked at her mother in law, anger was about to overwhelm her however she tried to keep her calm.
She was well aware that all her suffering in prison was sponsored by her.
Luna cleared her throat and looked at the young man and went straight to the point"Are you after her money?" It was an easy job all she had to do was detect whether he was telling the truth or not, she avoided jobs that required predicting the future altogether.
The young man sneered and gave her a demeaning look "Girl are you mental? Or is it your habit to ask strangers foolish questions."
Stella clenched her jaws and Ordered him to answer the question.
The young man slouched in the couch and confidently answered "of course not." He's eyes flashed red immediately.
Luna chuckled and blurted out "Liar."
He blinked rapidly and charged like a mad bull infront of a red flag "who the hell do you think you are." He shouted right before his Sugar mummy smirked his head.
She had been hiding her face with her hands in shame because she thought her new young lover was the real deal.
-
Stella and Herbert were returning from the mall after shopping gifts for Arthur's birthday, when they spotted a toddler sitted outside their gate.
He had a letter with him that claimed that he was the son of her husband. He never denied it but rather embraced him and loved him more than he did her own children.
She began having affairs with young boys low-key, although all they did was view her as a credit card. Now that her husband was dead she had the green light to fraternize with them in public without a care in the world.
-
"Am the white witch, a gold digging brat like you would never have crossed paths with me if not for Mrs Robinson." Luna scoffed and belittled him
"I need to know if he's loyal at the very least." Stella spoke while glaring at him.
He wiped invisible sweat from his forehead and confidently answered "I am, I swear to God, it's true I like the money but am 100٪ loyal my queen."
Nodding her head Luna confirmed that he was being truthful, news that made Stella overjoyed.
She handed him a black card and exclaimed "Go get that blue Ferrari that you wanted."
Luna was completely puzzled because Stella's husband had just died and she was busy galavanting with a man young old enough to be her last born son.
'It must be the Robinson culture to move on so quickly.' She thought as she rejected the cup of tea offered by the cheerful waitress.
"I ordered us some cups of tea, I needed to vent and my therapist is out of town." Her tone was sympathetic.
It was in Luna's favor to be in the good graces of Logan's mother.
"Why are you seeing a therapist is it because there have been so many deaths in your family?" Luna's voice was mildly cold and bold.
Stella was taken back by the abrupt question.
She admitted that she didn't like Herbert but his death was a big blow to the entire family.
"As for the girl, I heard she committed suicide am not sure because I don't care."Stella sipped her tea
Luna pressed her lips tightly together as her nerves caught fire she however maintained her cool composure.
"She was you're daughter in law. Did you not like her?" Luna asked an obvious question dragging the conversation further.
Stella put her cup on the saucer and narrated
"She seduced my husband first when that didn't work out she went after my second son. I never approved of their marriage because there was something about her I didn't like and I was right because she killed Herbert. I didn't hear anything about her after she was sentenced"
All this time she had been so sure that Stella was behind her torture sessions however she was being truthful. There was only one person she could think of at the moment and that was Megan.
She let out a pronounced sigh and apologized to Stella because she had to leave but before she could, Stella spoke "Have you considered my offer?"
Luna was puzzled because she didn't know what she Was talking about.
