Euphoria was bustling with strange faces when she returned, the environment seemed tense like something of great important was about go down.
Luna walked past by the burly men that were carrying boxes from the underground storage to the rooftop, others were offloading crates from the food trucks.
Without prying she opted to take the stairs because the elevators were filled to capacity.
Her secretary pushed her glasses up nervously when she strolled through the door. She was disappointed when Luna had ordered her to stay behind earlier.
-
"Ms Grey, it may seem to some people that am slacking on the job." She complained as she followed her to the car.
"What people! Ohh Logan you mean? he has no say when it comes to your job." Luna assured her.
Rowena let out a sigh of relief when she heard that although her royalty lied with the person that recommended her.
Getting the juicy job came with an ultimatum, one that Luna was not supposed to know about.
-
She snapped out of her thoughts when her boss curiously asked "What is going on out there?"
Rowena looked over her shoulders at Shay who blurted out excitedly " The black mamba is hosting a Roman themed party this weekend. All the big fish are going to be there." Clapping her hands in excitement
'The black mamba! This is my chance to see the mastermind behind Euphoria, that immoral humanbeing.' Luna shuddered in disgust when she replayed all the repulsive things she had seen at the place so far.
Her response shocked them as they gasped in Unison, eyeballed like she had asked one of them for a kidney
"Count me in I need to talk to him or her for that matter." She spoke like what she wanted was an ordinary walk in the park.
Suddenly Shay burst out laughing, one hand covered her mouth the other on her stomach hoping it was a silly joke because no one had ever seen his face talk more of talking to him.
"He's a mystery and his identity is unknown, usually he only attends mask parties so Goodluck with that." Shay informed her however she concluded that discussion by cheering her on since she was one of his valuable treasures at Euphoria.
Luna strangely understood why he would keep his identity a secret 'Its probably because he's the face behind this absurd place, poor Don when Euphoria crumbles he'll have to pay a high price for masquerading as the owner of the place.'
Shay and Rowena inquired about the details of her meeting with the client although Luna refused to disclose any details claiming that she can't breach the confidentiality agreement.
Rolling her eyes like Luna was spewing nonsense Shay asked " At the very least tell us how it went, did the spirits guide you?"
Nodding her head Luna lied outrightly "No worries, my abilities are back."
Rowena hid her phone under the table and secretly sent a message
-
The meeting with the client went well, it's true her abilities are back like they never left. Should I keep spying on her or I take a natural exit.
**
Stay put and report back to me if she does anything out of the norm or if she gets her memory back.

After handling a few more walk in cases from her clients, Luna retired early to her penthouse although she wasn't suprised to find Logan there humming as he cooked and whatever it was it smelled delicious.
"Hey magic" He was delighted to see her. She walked to him and planted a big kiss on his cheek making him blush like a groom on his wedding night.
She inhaled the sweet aroma of what he was making, it was a sea food dish that had a mixture of crabs, lobsters, shrimp, clams, and corn.
Her eyes flew open when she tasted the nicely prepared shrimp, it tasted as good as it smelled.
"I didn't know you can cook this good." Her eyes were smiling with untold reverence and admiration.
"That's probably because you lost you're memory or was that a hoax, has it not returned yet?" His warm eyes suddenly became dark and cold, the look sent a shudder down her spine.
She wondered what his obsession was with her memory because he frequently asked if it had returned and the question was always accompanied by a ferocious stare she never knew he had in her past life.
"Its blank, am starting to believe that it may never return at thus point." She spoke with certainty which made him sigh deeply. It seemed to her like he was relieved each time she confirmed that she still had amnesia.
He gently pushed her out of kitchen towards the bedroom "go take a shower first, then we can eat." His warm smile had returned to his handsome face.
Luna stared at the white membership card of the King's Country club she had received earlier from Stella Robinson.
Apparently she had offered the previous host an offer to become a permanent member of the club but she had rejected the offer countless times.
When Luna heard that she couldn't believe her luck "I'll take it." She had blurted out rendering the middle aged woman almost speechless.
Dressed in a fancy sheer see through dress, she strapped her heels and went to join her man.
He was slaw jawed the moment she walked in drop dead gorgeous, looking like a snack.
"You look delicious, I don't know if I should have you first or the food." He licked his lips as he gave her a sensual stare.
She was enjoying this version of her husband the old one barely sang her any praises despite her efforts to look sharp for him 'probably because he was cheating with the previous host of this body.' Her inner voice reminded her putting her in a grouchy mood.
He notted that her sweet smile was gone so he asked for the reason for her sudden change of attitude.
"Am really starving." She told a dreadful fib, thankfully he believed it.
He gobbled up the food like a starving lion in the wild, while she mostly played with the food because of her sudden lack of appetite besides she really preferred steak to sea food.
In her past life she always endured sea food because it's what her husband loved afterall his entire family except his mother were allergic to beef steak
"I thought you said you're starving?" His words were coated with concern and worry.
She gently dropped the fork on the plate and truthfully told him that she preferred steak, something that shocked him because prior to her loosing her memories she preferred sea food and thats why he had apparently prepared it because he liked beef steak too.
"You what?" She gazed at him in utter shock
'What the fuck was he saying right now?what about his allergies.' Luna shook her head in disbelief
Ignoring her he spoke "So you're taste in food changed just out of the blue? Sometimes you seem like an entirely different person to me." His attitude left her bewild and dishearted.
'Funny you said that a pot calling a kettle black' Luna really wanted to ask him alot of questions but that would mean exposing herself
"I am a different person Logan, I died and came back to life, ofcourse there things that are bound to change about me especially now that I have seen the face of the devil." Her voice was colder than ice.
