Chapter 89 - Mr. Warren's Fear

Caleb got totally wrecked by Noah, to the point where he couldn't even muster the strength to open his eyes for a while.

Seeing their son in that state, Mr. and Mrs. Warren completely ignored the Davis family and focused solely on Caleb. Mrs. Warren looked up at Ethan, pleading, "Mr. Anderson, if Davis's daughter did something wrong, why drag the Warren family into this?"

As she spoke, Ethan shot her a cold stare. "It doesn't make..." she started, but the rage in his eyes made her stop in her tracks.

Without saying a word, Ethan returned to the couch with Noah, completely unfazed by the cries of those kneeling around them.

While sitting there, he glanced over at David and Carter, who was given a task to do.

Carter gathered the group of people in front of the couch, and David stepped up to hand Ethan the file he had.

Ethan grabbed the file from the table and tossed it right at the Warren family, who gasped in fear as something came flying their way.

Mr. Warren, realizing it was just a file, caught it and started flipping through the pages, only to find details about a bounty he had placed on a girl, complete with a sketch.

A few days ago, as soon as Eric handed over the photo of the girl, which clearly showed her face, Mr. Warren quickly set the sketch down, noting the bounty was a whopping ten thousand dollars.

Little did he know, before anyone had a chance to check out the bounty he posted, it was yanked down, leaving the bounty interface looking like nothing had ever been there.

When Mr. Warren glanced at the girl's details in the file, he looked up, puzzled, and asked, "Mr. Anderson, what is this...?"

Ethan stayed silent, but David shot him a look and said flatly, "Just go through the whole file."

So, Mr. Warren flipped through the entire file, only to uncover all the shady dealings their companies had been involved in, the financial maneuvers that had slipped under the radar, and all the private actions he thought were hidden.

The file contained everything about his son—his escapades with women and all the illegal stuff he got into. It was all laid out there, no detail left out.

When Mr. Warren saw the full contents of the file, he was completely stunned and didn't know how to react.

If any of this information got out, the Warren family would be stuck in poverty forever.

He couldn't let that happen to the family and the company he had worked so hard to build over the years.

The Adam family and AM Corporation had already pulled their contract, leaving them without any major support.

If any of this gets out now, it's game over for the Warren family.

Noah, who was just chilling and watching the show, glanced at the file, which made Mr. Warren's face twist into an even uglier expression.

Mr. Warren realized that his only lifeline was the Anderson group; no one else could pull him out of this mess.

"Mr. Anderson, please don't take any action. I'll do whatever you need. Just don't ruin the Warren family. I'm begging you," Mr. Warren pleaded, struggling to kneel before Ethan.

"Are you asking me to walk away?" Ethan replied, his gaze steady and calm.

"Mr. Anderson, I'm willing to do anything for you. We've got no issues between us, so I don't see why this is necessary," Mr. Warren said, his eyes darting nervously to the file.

He was so consumed by his worries about the company that he completely zoned out the pain and blood he was dealing with.

"Got no issues at all?" David shot back, glaring at Mr. Warren like he was an idiot.

"Didn't you put that bounty up on the website?" David asked, striding over to Mr. Warren.

Mr. Warren glanced at David approaching and nodded absentmindedly, saying, "Yeah, Mr. David. That's the girl who made my son suffer a few days back."

"It looks like the lessons from the Adam family and AM Corporation didn't quite hit the mark," Ethan remarked sarcastically, turning his gaze to Noah, who seemed a bit lost in all of this.

Ethan's words sparked a wave of uncertainty in his mind. He glanced at Carter, who caught his eye, and sought Ethan's nod of approval before swiftly picking up the file from the floor and handing it to Noah.

As Noah laid eyes on the first page of the file, his expression hardened, and the atmosphere in the room dropped even further.

Despite the already chilly environment, the sudden shift made the six individuals on the floor feel as if a blade was pressed against their throats.

Mr. Warren, in particular, couldn't help but notice Noah's reaction and the abrupt drop in temperature, sending a chill racing down his spine.

Even though he had no clue who this guy was, his vibe and the way he carried himself made it clear that he was not someone to take lightly. Plus, considering the beatings his son had taken, he realized that not just anyone could dish it out like that.

Only someone with serious training could have the strength to hit that hard. And if he was sitting across from Ethan, it meant they were on the same playing field.

He had no idea which higher power he had ticked off to end up facing these two in front of him.

Even the Davis family, who had no connection to the situation with Noah, felt a chill run through them as Rosy hid behind her parents, scared by the sudden shift in Noah's demeanor.

After glancing at the file, Noah slammed it down onto the glass coffee table in a fit of rage. The force of the impact caused the table to shatter, sending shards of glass flying in every direction.

Ethan, well aware of Noah's temper, was already on his feet. As soon as Noah grabbed the file, Ethan quickly stepped away from the couch, managing to avoid any harm.

However, members of the Warren and Davis families were seated closer to the coffee table, and the broken glass struck them, leaving painful cuts and bloody marks on their skin.
