Mr. Davis noticed the fury and felt uneasy about the situation. He wanted to smooth things over and said, "Mr. Anderson, I believe someone misused my daughter's name. How about I help you teach them a lesson? You shouldn't have to lower yourself to their standards."
Ethan pondered this for a moment, then got up and approached Noah, saying, "You know what? You're right. I shouldn't have to lower myself to their level, Carter."
As soon as Ethan signaled Carter, he wasted no time and went after Mr. Davis and Mr. Warren with bare hands as there was no need to beat these old guys with a tool as his hands would be enough, causing everyone else to huddle in fear.
Mr. Davis and Mr. Warren were yelling in agony, but Carter didn't seem to care at all. He could be quite the chatterbox and enjoyed mixing things up now and then, but when it came to his boss's tasks, he was all business and made sure everything was done perfectly.
Noah, who had been eavesdropping on the whole thing, suddenly stood up and turned to Ethan, asking, "Is this the Warren family you're talking about?"
Ethan immediately got what Noah meant.
Since Hendry was present during the hotel incident, he must have filled the Adam brothers in on all the details, so it made sense that Noah was in the loop.
Ethan just gave a nod and asked coolly, "Wanna do something?"
"Is that even a question?" Noah shot back, his expression icy and his anger practically radiating from his eyes.
With that, Noah turned to David and ordered, "Bring him to me," pointing at Caleb with a frosty demeanor.
David, knowing Noah's background, looked at Ethan with a mix of concern and hesitation. If he handed Caleb over, there was no telling what would happen to him.
But Ethan didn't care about any of that.
He wasn't going to let Caleb slip away, even if Noah decided not to take matters into his own hands. So, he was totally fine with Noah sorting things out with Caleb.
He simply nodded at David, who then made his way over and pulled Caleb away from his mom, who was clinging to him in fear.
"Where are you taking my son? Caleb... Honey, do something!" Mrs. Warren shouted, panic in her voice as she watched them drag her poor kid away.
Mr. Warren was being beaten on by Carter and he didn't even notice what was going on around him.
With all the noise from Carter's beating, Mr. Warren couldn't hear a thing, while Caleb was taken to Noah, who tormented him until he finally let out all his pent-up anger.
David had heard plenty about the youngest son of the Adam family, who was in the military and known for his cold, ruthless demeanor. But this was the first time he witnessed Noah's ruthlessness firsthand.
Until now, David believed no one could match his boss's level of cruelty, but Noah appeared to be just as formidable. When it came to inflicting pain, neither of them seemed willing to back down.
For a solid two hours, Noah and Carter mercilessly tormented the people in front of them, leaving the three of them lifeless on the floor, covered in blood.
The women, frozen in terror with fear written all over their faces and shaking bodies, were at a loss for what to do, simply weeping in the corner since they felt powerless to intervene.
Meanwhile, Ethan just stood there, watching the whole thing unfold without stepping in even stop for a little while or giving them some time to catch up.
Even then, Ethan didn't let up and give them a break. He told David to douse the three unconscious folks with water.
David quickly grabbed three buckets with a couple of other bodyguards and splashed the water all over them.
The sudden cold water hit them, and with all the aches and itching, Mr. Davis, Mr. Warren, and Caleb groaned as they struggled to sit up.
But they were so beaten down that they couldn't even keep themselves upright on the floor.
Mrs. Warren and Mrs. Davis rushed over to their husbands and her son, wrapping their arms around them to help them sit up against their bodies.
Rosy, her eyes puffy and red from crying, desperately called out for her dad, who was in rough shape with blood smeared across his face and a bunch of cuts and bruises. "Dad... are you okay...?"
When she saw how badly hurt he was, Rosy's anger boiled over. She found her voice and shot back, "Mr. Anderson, no matter how rich you are, you can't just push people around like this. This is a place where laws matter!"
As she shouted, she lifted her chin to speak again but was met with his icy glare that radiated a dangerous vibe, making her fall silent as if the words were stuck in her throat.
Ethan looked at Rosy, who seemed to have shut her mouth with fear hanging around her.
Seeing Ethan's killing gaze on his daughter, Mr. Davis mustered up the last string of strength in his body and said as he stammered, "Mr. Anderson..., if I've messed up, then go ahead and do whatever you want to me. But... please, don't drag my wife and daughter into this."
With a chilling stare, Ethan stepped closer, crouched down to meet Mr. Davis's eyes, and with a slight smirk of irritation said, "Looks like you're not aware of what your daughter has done."
When Mr. Davis heard Ethan's words, he was taken aback to realize that all the pain they were going through wasn't due to his own mistakes, but rather something his daughter had done.
He instinctively turned to look at his daughter, his face a mix of shock, while Mrs. Davis mirrored his expression.
Even though Ethan mentioned something about Rosy right from the start, no one really believed it.
They thought it might just be a misunderstanding since there was no way she could have met Ethan, given that he was always overseas or rarely around.
But after thinking about it, it doesn't make sense for Ethan to beat them to death without any purpose unless someone here did something to arouse his anger.
Mr. Davis was completely freaked out, drenched in cold sweat as panic set in.
Mrs. Davis turned to Rosy, her voice shaking, and asked, "Rosy, what did you do?"
Rosy, stunned to realize that everything was happening because of her, snapped back to reality when she heard her mom's voice.
