Zara was all set to confront him. She was no stranger to a fight. If she did, it would definitely make Grandpa Arthur feel ashamed.
But just as he was about to strike and Zara was about to retaliate, a powerful kick sent him flying.
The man's eyes widened in surprise and agony as the kick hit his stomach with incredible force.
His body was lifted off the ground, thrown backward by the sheer strength of the blow. He flew through the air for a moment before crashing down several feet away.
Upon impact, he was seized by a violent cough, blood spilling from his mouth and staining the cold, unforgiving ground.
The rest of the guys were absolutely stunned by what they saw. This guy was the toughest and most skilled member of the entire gang.
Even he got knocked back by this. It sent shivers down everyone's spine to see the person who had just kicked him.
Now, they could clearly sense the intensity of the powerful energy he was giving off. It was a clear warning that they were all in serious trouble.
As they gazed at the powerful energy and the piercing cold eyes, they felt even more terrified, their hearts pounding with fear.
Zara glanced at Ethan but didn't say a word, instead she looked at the gang in front of her. From their reactions, she knew they wouldn't be continuing the fight.
She wanted to step forward and ask them about this, but before she could do so, she was pulled towards Ethan.
Ethan gazed into her bright eyes and amber gaze, causing his icy demeanor to soften and his eyes to warm up.
"Don't worry. I'll take care of this," Ethan stated, looking directly at Zara.
Zara considered his words and gave a nod. She didn't want to stir up trouble right after returning home and causing problems for her family.
If Ethan dealt with the situation, no one would dare to challenge him since this was his territory.
As they stood, David brought the car near them and got out of the car only to see one man lying motionlessly with his eyes wide open and another man in a pool of blood with more people with them.
Immediately his eyes turned cold and he straightened his body and walked forward to Ethan.
Ethan without even looking at the group of people, instructed David, "Take them away."
David nodded at him and made a call before starting the car and heading out.
Soon, the people in the parking lot were taken care of.
In the car, Ethan looked at Zara and asked calmly, "Can we lunch at my place? It's near here. I have something to attend to."
Zara thought for a moment and nodded at him.
"Go to the house in the college district." Ethan looked at the front and said to David. "OK, Boss."
The car soon arrived at Ethan's house in the college district, which was usually bustling with students coming and going from the college.
Since it was a college district, the buildings were not grand villas or mansions. Instead, they were more like apartments or individual houses with small courtyards.
The car soon pulled up and drove into an exclusive neighborhood called Haven community.
Ethan's house was located in a high-end community due to its prime location.
Driving through the neighborhood, the car passed through another gate before coming to a stop in front of the villa's garage.
Upon exiting the car, Zara took a quick look at the three-story villa.
The villa's design seamlessly combines classic and modern elements. The front of the house showcases a mix of stone and stucco, with spacious arched windows that let in plenty of natural light.
A meticulously landscaped garden with lush greenery and vibrant flowers enhances the curb appeal. The expansive driveway, made of cobblestone, leads to a three-car garage.
Ethan guided Zara to the villa, still holding her hand.
Inside, Zara was welcomed by a grand foyer with a sweeping staircase and a stunning chandelier. The living spaces are designed for both luxury and comfort, with high ceilings, hardwood floors, and custom millwork throughout the villa.
As they strolled, the butler, who appeared to be in his late fifties, greeted Ethan and Zara with a warm "Welcome, Young Master, Ms. Zara."
Zara without saying anything just nodded at him. Ethan looked at the butler and asked calmly, "Set the table."
"It's all prepared, Young Master," the butler replied respectfully.
Ethan nodded and led Zara towards the dining room, hand in hand.
The butler only did see that the two of them were holding hands till now.
First of all, he was shocked when he got a call that Young Master was coming here for lunch. And now seeing his Young Master holding the hand of a girl made him awestruck.
But still, he composed himself and walked towards the kitchen to bring the dishes to the dining table.
Zara and Ethan sat at the dining table and soon, the butler brought the food that had been prepared.
During the meal, Ethan continuously served Zara without uttering a word.
After lunch, Ethan looked at Zara who was sitting and using the phone in the living room.
He looked at her side profile and he couldn't help but be mesmerized by her and didn't even want to send her back to her home.
"I'll show you around the house." Ethan calmly said looking at Zara.
Zara glanced at Ethan, who was gazing at her with those striking amber eyes.
Since childhood, the Adam brothers have always been distant from Ethan for two reasons. First, he was prepared to whisk their sister away from childhood.
Second, he shared the same eyes as Zara, which only fueled the brothers' resentment even more.
She figured she had nothing to lose, so she gave him a nod.
Ethan and Zara stood up and toured the ground floor before heading to the backyard.
Zara really admired the villa's exterior and interior architecture. She's always been a fan of architecture, so she appreciates the design of this villa.
The villa's backyard is a peaceful oasis that seamlessly combines luxury and nature. Stepping outside, you're welcomed by a beautifully maintained lawn, with its lush greenery spreading out like a cozy, inviting carpet. A cobblestone path winds through the garden, leading to various charming corners and features.
As they made their way up the stairs to the first floor, David suddenly interrupted them, "Boss."
Ethan glanced at David and then turned to Zara, saying, "You go ahead. I'll join you later." "You carry on with your work," Zara replied calmly and continued upstairs.
Ethan then instructed the butler, "Go with Lia."
The butler, named Cedric, nodded at Ethan and followed behind Zara.
