Chapter 74 - Olivia's Anger

Olivia glanced at Jack, then turned her head to see Hendry, and finally shifted her gaze to Kylie, who appeared anxious.

Olivia suddenly acted as if she had just remembered something important and calmly said with a look of innocence and fear, "I forgot something my teacher asked me to do. It just came back to me."

Looking up at the three individuals, she added, "Sorry for startling you all."

Jack and Hendry simply nodded in understanding.

"Oh, that's all? You really scared me there." Kylie patted her chest to calm her racing heart.

Alan could see that something was not right here. But he didn't want to disturb when all the family members were gathered.

Andrew who saw his wife's worried expression turned cold and said coldly, "Don't cause a scene for such matters." Then he turned to his wife and said, "Sit and drink some water, honey."

Olivia shrunk her neck seeing the fierce look on her father.

Seeing Olivia's feared face, Kylie made a low laugh as she sat beside Andrew and got the glass from him, saying, "Don't scare her."

Then she shifted her eyes to Ethan and said with a smile, "Ethan, now that you're here. Have breakfast here before going."

Ethan without thinking nodded with a low smile.

Throughout the breakfast, Olivia didn't even utter anything for fear that Andrew would scold her that too with Ethan present.

But looking at Ethan who even though had been pushed back to the seat by her brothers, sneaking a peek at her without even eating much, made her so much burst inside her.

She was already jealous of Zara, especially seeing her father and Noah suddenly turning into a totally different person when around Zara.

And now, even Ethan is showing special attention to Zara, evident from the way he looks at her.

It's not just her - the whole family has picked up on it.

Despite the boys being upset with him for taking their sister away, they couldn't help but feel relieved seeing how much he cared for her after all this time.

After having breakfast, Ethan and Zara drove off in the car.

Ethan got into the car and immediately reached for Zara's hand, refusing to release it despite her attempts to pull away.

Zara shot Ethan a disapproving glance and questioned in a chilly tone, "Why are you holding my hand?"

Ethan smirked and replied, "Who else but me has the privilege to hold your hand?"

"What makes you think you have the privilege to hold my hand? Let go." Zara didn't resist physically but instead engaged in conversation in hopes of convincing him to let go.

With a grin, he stated, "You're my fiancée. Therefore, I have every right to hold my fiancée's hand."

 "Who's your fiancée? I'm not."

Zara couldn't fathom how her family had arranged this when she was just a baby.

Even if they did, it's not like he should take it seriously.

Isn't he a highly educated man and people normally say that no one can control him? Then how did he accept this decision his parents made?

Ethan looked at the thinking Zara and said, "Don't think to bail out now. You're already holding my hand, so you should take responsibility for me. You won't try to escape taking the responsibility, right?"

Zara's eyes widened in shock at Ethan's words. The only word that came to mind to describe him was 'shameless'.

Despite her disbelief, she glared at Ethan and retorted, "Just so you know, I'm not the one holding your hand."

She lifted her hand, which Ethan had been holding, to emphasize her point.

Observing her actions, Ethan pondered for a moment before leaning in closer to her. In a husky voice, he declared, "Then I'll be responsible for you. You can forget about all your worries and simply enjoy life to the fullest."

Looking at his shamelessness, Zara looked at his face which was so close to him with a complicated gaze and asked, "Are you really the same person that I have known before?"

"You can test me. Anyway, we still have a lot of time in the future." Ethan said calmly.

"But I don't think I have that much patience to let you just take a look at me for that time," Ethan continued as he gently grasped her hand as he looked at Zara with his lips curled up.

Zara understood the meaning behind his words and looking at his face, her face suddenly got heated up and her fair skin turned red in embarrassment.

Seeing her face like this, Ethan felt a sense of accomplishment in his heart.

As she didn't want to continue to talk with him, she tried to pull her hand back, but only to hear a hoarse voice whispering in her ear, "Don't move, I'm afraid I might hurt you."

His words entered her ears as if they meant something else and coupled with his hot breath that landed on her ears, she could tell that he said what he meant.

She couldn't do anything else and just let him hold her hand and simply ignored him.

David who was driving didn't know whether he was in some kind of other space, where the person sitting in the back seat was definitely not his Boss.

Thinking back to what Butler Beau said to him, it really seems like only Ms. Zara could change his Boss.

From now he decided in his heart that whatever it maybe, he would keep Ms. Zara in high position in his heart next to his Boss.

No, no, no...first Ms. Zara next his Boss.

He noted that if he wanted someone to back him in the future in front of Boss, he should look for Ms. Zara.

After going around for some time, the car stopped at the shopping mall in the city center.

Ethan wanted to open the door to get out but suddenly stopped in his tracks and looked at Zara.

Zara felt that the person beside her was not moving, so she looked up at him only to see his gaze on her.

 "What?"

"Zara, I forgot to ask about the identity that you used in abroad. That identity will be useful when you go out from now on." Ethan calmly said looking at Zara.

He feared that Zara would mistake him for he disliked the identity of Zara.

Looking at Ethan, Zara could see the fear in his eyes. She didn't know what to say. She thought to himself, "Why does he look like that?"

She couldn't guess his thoughts. So she didn't care about it and nodded at him, "Luna Bennet."

Ethan nodded at her upon hearing the name thinking that it suited her name really well.

However, before she could turn to get down, Ethan pulled her towards him.

Zara fell into his arms by the sudden pull. She looked up at him only to see his clear and smooth skin with the curved features of his chin.
