CHAPTER EIGHT NINE
"Pardon me, my lady," he apologized placing his forehead against hers. "I got too excited."
Rain trembled when Aryan brought her face in his hands and he looked deeply into her eyes.
"Stop being so hateful of me," he noticed the tears in her eyes. "You don't have to cry every time I touch you."
She shook her head, the frustration of her inability to speak eating her.
Aryan's narrowed, he didn't have to be a mind reader to understand the meaning of her protests.
"Do you mean there is nothing I can do to make you love me?" He asked curiously. "Half of the things I had promised you, I have given to you. Didn't I say I was going to make you the Empress? Didn't I say I was going to make your status so high no one will dare to disrespect you."
Aryan felt anger seeping into him.
Rain closed her eyes, there was nothing she could do.
