Murmurs swirled like soft breezes in the inner courts of the celestial palace, high above where the sun's rays flooded every nook with dazzling light. The deities, dressed in robes of shimmering clouds, moved gracefully on pathways woven from moonbeams and stardust.
Today was a big day as the sky's ruler, clad in azure and gold, and the goddess of clouds with her silvery veil awaited their heir's arrival.
The heir who would govern the sun that he created with its birth. Long ago, before the heir's birth, the celestial expanse had been shrouded in darkness and the gods that covered the moon and the stars did their best to illuminate them, working tirelessly through the day and night.
