The conversation, or lack thereof, was building a sense of nervousness in Penny's heart. Ever since she offered a deal to Azel, the cloaked young man simply nodded and told her to follow him. At first Penny had assumed he wanted to leave the market after the small scene they had caused with Daren. But now she was beginning to doubt this thought, after all they had been walking for several minutes now.
It didn't help that Penny was still unsure on exactly what this strangers intentions were. He seemed to be playing nice right now, but she knew from experience that there were no true "altruists" in the world. Or at least there were no true altruists here in Putrix , the filthiest city of the whole Subsist.
