"You look pretty, baby". It was Iris, she was dressed in a white fitted gown that wasn't too long. "You know, your clothes match just fine like that of the mark of their pack", she said to Lucy who was admiring who was standing at the mirror.
"This isn't me", she said, chuckling. She looked pretty.
"Let's go before we get late, the party starts at 10:00 love, let's be quick", she said, dragging Lucy by the arm.
Things had been going too smoothly and Iris was worried, but she had decided to let it go telling herself that Cordelia was an old fashioned fox that stuck to culture and traditions, she couldn't possibly change the way she did things. She'd still come and Iris would run to another country.
Then she thought of Lucy, what would happen to Lucy, she hadn't told her anything like she did to the rest, she wanted her to live her life like a normal teenager and didn't tell her the dangers that were after her. If Cordelia saw Lucy, she'd kill her in an instant and Iris didn't want that, which was so unlike her.
"We're here", she said, getting down from the car and leading the way while Lucy followed behind.
Necks turned when they entered the hall, Iris could read their thoughts without even messing with their mind.
What's a fox doing here?
And a human that smells like a fox?
These mother fuckers are at our alpha's party?
Iris smiled, finding a seat at the front to make them all the more angered and crazed. "So you came, I invited the hybrid and his pack… not clan, I hear you two are not on good terms?" The alpha who had come to greet her said and she smiled broadly. "It's fine, he's a wolf after all"
"Half", he corrected and she rolled her eyes. "I don't care about his clan especially when I am a stray fox, one without a clan", she said and he kissed her cheeks.
"Make yourself comfortable, loves", he said to them, kidding Lucy's cheeks.
"You look absolutely stunning darling, if this weren't a wedding, you would be the limelight of this beautiful event". Lucy blushed as he patted her cheeks and walked away to greet other guests.
"I guess wolves are better than foxes, he's a gentleman", Lucy said, still smiling at the thought of his lips on her cheeks.
"No fox likes to hear that though they know it's true", she said and smirked.
The wedding was beautiful, the Luna was breathtaking and could see two girls from a pack she didn't know the name staring in awe. She could tell those were the girls that bullied her then, just like a wolf tale would go.
"Luna Ann. would you take Alpha…."
And the cheers and the drinks and the making merry and the fireworks… they were all beautiful.
Hope.
Iris decided to meet some people she had business with leaving the young Lucy all by herself.
"That bitch is always like that, leaving and coming when she likes", she said with a scowl on her pretty face.
"Hello", some said and she turned quickly almost tripping. He caught her.
"I'm really sorry, did I scare you?" He asked letting her go, she smiled shaking her head.
"No… no, I mean yes you did", she said stuttering. "But it's fine, I shouldn't have reacted that way to a mere greeting". He laughed and kissed her cheeks.
"You guys are so fond of that", she said and he laughed.
"Well, it's more of a habit than fondness. Let's say we just do that to foxes only, I don't know why", he said.
"But I'm not a fox"
"You're human for sure, but you smell just like a fox", he said and led the way to the dance floor and she followed not having the slightest reason why.
Maybe because he was drop dead gorgeous.
"Can I have this dance?" He asked and she smiled shyly. "I'm not good at dancing"
"I'd teach you", he said and took her hand. One holding her hand and the other on her waist. They moved slowly at first and she was always stepping on his shoes.
"I suck at this"
"We all suck, love, I suck, you suck, every fucking living person sucks", he said and she smiled broadly.
"Yeah, I guess" . They danced for a while and decided to go out.
"It's late, are we sleeping here?"
"Yes, I guess", he said holding her hands.
"What's your name, love"
"I'm Lucy", she said calmly.
"I'm Joseph", he said and she frowned. It wasn't that she hated the name but what he had done to her. He had used her and the thought of calling this God standing before her that name made her sick.
"What a nice name, I'd be going, meet you inside", she say and left without a word.
Lucy walked into the woods annoyed at the fact that someone so good looking answered such horrible name. The name wasn't horrible, it was a nice name for a nice guy, but she didn't want to remember that moron who played her.
Suddenly the air around her started feeling eerie and she knew she had gone too far off into the woods. She felt something was following her and it was fast, she started running and saw a fox chasing her, she ran tripping because of her high heels having a deep cut. It pounced on her ready to devour her, she cried shutting her eyes and getting ready to die. But nothing was happening so she opened her eyes and saw the animal rolled over blood everywhere, it was stabbed.
"Are you okay?"
That voice was familiar, she had heard it a lot of times, she had loved it and hated it. Begged for it and yet played by it.
She hugged him feeling safe in his arms and yet angered. She slapped him across the face and walked away.
Joseph stared at the fox, it had that mark… the mark of the blue moon clan.
He was worried and decided to follow her from a distance.

Connor opened his wardrobe and brought out the gadget Doctor Hagerty had given him, the beast hadn't attacked since and he didn't know when it will. He needed to be ready for anything and he really wanted to retire… he had a noise from a distance, an animal in pain and thought,
Oh yeah, those damn hunters.

They were in a silver cage, the four of them, no one daring to touch the cage, the place dark and cold but that was least of their problems. Then, Cordelia came in holding a book titled 'The werefox'. It was beautifully decorated.
"I got this book from the library one time, then decided to get one for myself, it was really interesting"
"Cut to the chase bitch", Jacob snarled and she laughed.
"The evil werefox was killed along with her followers"
"You're a lunatic !" Drella said in English.
"Or should I say slaves", she continued like no one had said anything.
"You gods forsaken woman, we did nothing, we didn't want this!" Ling said crying like a baby.
"Oh no, she was killed but what happened to the dark magic, there must be something else in this book but was omitted. Something sinister"
"That's how you could copy our ability, dark magic, you want to have Iris's powers, you snivelling fox!" Jayson said shaking his head in anger wanting to rush at her but knowing it was best not to. He didn't want to get burned by the silver cage.
"Now you know!" She replied to him and threw the book in a corner. "I'm not surprised though, you're the one that wrote the book after all", she said and turned to leave.
"You won't get away with this, I trust Iris", Jayson said which surprised Jacob.
Cordelia laughed.
"Watch me, love"
The night was dark, cold and quiet. It was the least of their problems. The silver cage held them captive making it more hopeless, there was wolfsbane poison all over the cage so that if they escaped the silver wraith, they wouldn't escape the poison.
But these also we're least of their problems. They all thought about Iris, if she dies, they all would die, she wasn't the best master, but they didn't want her to go that way.
After all they were her slaves, they were solely indebted to her in one way or the other… they couldn't let her be powerless and die a miserable death in the hands of her enemy, Cordelia.
