Connor sighed holding some pills in his palms, he popped them into his mouth and downed it with a glass of water. He had been having sleepless nights because of that beast. He was almost nearing his resignation then the creature came about and ruined everything.
He lived alone with a dog, Sammy. It nudged him and he looked down and smiled. "If I had just resigned earlier, I'd spend more time with you", he muttered and the dog whimpered quietly.
"But, I got those things from Dr Hagerty, so when I find it, I'd kill it all and have a lot of time with you", he said, kneeling to its small height and rubbing behind its ear.
"When it shows up, I'd kill it"

"So you want to spend a week in China, sweetheart?" Someone asked over the phone.
"Of course, it'll be fun, China is a very amusing place after all" the other person said. The voice was rather feminine and even a dummy would know it was Cordelia. "But you have to go to Paris before the blood moon and you haven't found her". The voice held worry, Cordelia sighed.
"She's in California", she said carelessly.
"You mean that petty morhan girl is in California?" He asked with disgust in his voice.
"She is in Avalon but frequents Nestle lake, the girl has a new pet and I hear she's vulnerable and weak unlike the rest", she said.
"I'll call you back, sweetheart, I have something to do"

"Don't worry, I'll be quick, the Blue moon will be awaiting our return".

Iris was at the woods again, she'd been frequenting the place these past few days and didn't know why. Maybe it was the fact that she felt that something evil was going to happen, especially with the blood moon that was coming very soon.
"Hey, fox", someone said from behind, making her turn quickly. "If it weren't you, I'd have snapped your wolf neck a long time ago". She snarled and he chuckled though rubbing his dear neck.
"Calm down fox, have you forgotten who I am so soon", he said grinning and she relaxed.
"I know you, That wolf from the club, not the gay one", she said and he chuckled.
"I'm the alpha of the Gold circle pack, I'd like to invite you and your friends to my wedding if you promise not to cause any problems", he said smiling boyishly.
"Wolves and Foxes aren't that close to each other", he added and she smiled.
"So you found your mate finally, thought you'd ask for my hand in marriage", she said and he bit his lower lip. "I'd gladly accept, I might bring unity amongst us, after all we share a common enemy and are lethal to wolfsbane", she added carelessly and he laughed.
Iris closed her eyes, she had a weird feeling, something or someone was watching her, she sighed and opened her eyes.
"You say the Gold circle pack, we'd be there. But tell me, where did you meet your beloved mate" she asked not that she was curious, she just wanted to shake that weird feeling out.
"Well mine was like the ones in the stories, she was a rogue kicked out of her pack and I the alpha of a mighty pack, she crossed my border and I trapped her just to find out that she was my mate", he said rolling his eyes, though he seemed happy.
"You've waited twenty two years so you should be happy. Don't worry love, we won't cause trouble, the other one is practically human", she said, going closer to him until they could smell their own breath. His breathing became heavy. She kissed him and before he could give way for her tongue she was no longer close to him.
"You little witch", he muttered.
"You're getting married after all. Something wolves don't have is that we foxes are attractive", she said and he laughed. "Or you mean you", he said and she smiled.
"I'll see you later, alpha, send my regards to your new Luna". Iris disappeared into thin air.
The wolf smiled, the old fox was something else, what was he thinking trying to kiss her. "Foxes are cunning after all", he said. Suddenly, his eyes turned black and he caught someone by the neck. "You were watching us", he said looking at the person who was trying hard to breathe.
He spat at him. " Mind your… f… fucking bus…business, wo…wolf", the fox stammered and he growled at him breaking his neck.
"Fuck you", he said and threw the body on the ground.

"You haven't spoken to me for days now, that's not fair", Lucy said while Joseph brought out a cigarette, lighting it and putting it in his mouth. He said nothing.
"Is it about Iris, I'm sorry", she said and he sighed.
"Fuck Iris, It's not your fault", he said and threw the cigar stepping on it, he kissed her. Lucy was confused but didn't say a thing.
"Let's just forget about everything, love", he said, moving away from her. He had so many things going on in his mind and didn't want her to get involved in his nonsense.
"What do you mean, Joseph?" She said tears were already clouding her vision. "I meant let's forget about what we did, let's just stop talking for a while at least", he said and she slapped him. He wasn't surprised.
"Fuck you", she said and walked out on him. How dare he? He wanted to just forget about everything they had done because of a petty fight with Iris. She sighed, going to the lake.
Lucy sat on the ground putting her legs into the lake using her hands to rewrite a poem about life and death… she was going to die anyway.

That feeling was still there, something was staring at her, watching her every move. She made to run then something lunged at her wanting to devour her, she closed her eyes already accepting death.
After some minutes she opened her eyes, she wasn't dead, rather she saw the creature lying dead on the ground. It was a fox.
"You shouldn't be alone in the woods at night",Someone said. Lucy turned to see Iris. She ran and hugged her. "Thought I'd die", she said and Iris smiled.
"You won't as long as I'm here".
Iris looked at the fox's shoulder, there was a tattoo there shaped like a moon. She scoffed.
