The more Scout materialized items the heavier Breach's face became.
(These items...) Breach pointed to the creations Scout had made.
Scout nodded and with an expression of making no joke with what he created.
Before the bazooka you could say these items were not very deadly by themselves. However, combining them together would leave little to the imagination in what they would be used for.
But with a bazooka...
Breach quickly figured out why Scout wanted to pull him back after one second.
He was going to in their explosives ready and blow everything up. Take whatever might be worth of some value and run as far as possible using me.
But...Considering the size of the room.
Breach looked back at the mini replica. Sure enough, Breach saw the problem he didn't want to consider.
The room is way too small.
If you blow up a bazooka in there...everything inside that room will be within the range of the most violent part of the explosion. Thats why he created a riot shield, although he already has a thick layer of armor he normally wears. But that armor might not be enough to delay the inevitable. So, a riot shield was created to create more time.
Breach thought about all this and started to ponder about what exactly is in that room... and what may be of value in there too.
But Scout didn't just stay still while Breach was thinking.
Scout stood up and started preparing himself. Put on the gloves and use the rope to attach to his back armor the Riot shield. Had the flashbang pointed slightly off to the right ahead of him and the bazooka using his other hand pointing behind him.
Scout then got himself in a very specific yet odd position. Legs folded in front, so his rear end was laying on the ground with the riot shield. Now the riot shield is completely protecting his whole body from the back.
The left hand rested the bazooka onto his shoulder and part of the riot shield as it pointed behind him.
The finger on the trigger.
ready to fire.
The right hand holding the flashbang is already primed to explode once it is let go.
Scout took a deep breath and then looked at Breach, soon after looking down again at his mini replica.
(Look there.)
Breach nodded in understanding and turned his head.
The mini replica was still the same as before, highly detailed with every possible layout presented to them.
Suddenly the replica zoomed in, the hallway connected to the door of the mysterious room became all that is displayed.
The room with a question mark slowly started to change and reveal what was hidden inside.
Inside the room were thousands of moving black symbols on the white walls.
The floor and ceiling had small lightning bolt shaped white spears. Every now and then a white light would flash in erratic ways from these white spears, giving the illusion that these are frozen in time thunder strikes.
In the center is a small altar with a glass cup full of tiny red beads. Surrounding the altar were four white pillars full of the same black symbols.
In front of the alter is an old looking man in large red robes muttering something with his hands over the beads. Staring intensely at them.
Finally, the last one at the door's entrance.
A monster in the shape of a slightly deflated sphere stood there guarding the door. It had no key feature as it was a solid red color.
Scout then created a miniature version of himself. Positioned right next to the alter. His back strapped with a riot shield on his back facing the red slime. The left hand pointing the bazooka and ready to fire at the red slime. While the right hand right above the cup of red beads. Directly in the line of sight of the old man.
Breach took a moment to stare at this. After a few seconds Breach looked back at Scout and nodded his head.
Then Breach opened both hands and slowly started to close them.
(You have 10 seconds to prepare yourself. 9…8…7…)
This moment felt as if time was passing ever slower to the both of them.
As each finger closes Scout and Breach felt like time was getting slower to eternity.
(3…2…1…)
Right when the last finger went down, Scout relaxed himself and completely let go of everything.
Disregard all the things around himself and acted on his instinct. Instinct to do it right the first time, just like the dozens of attempts in his head.
Just as the hand closed…so did Scout disappear.
And right at this moment…
Did something happen…
