This idea kicked me in the teeth and wouldn't let me go until I started writing. So here this is, my SI into Worm.
I don't own anything other then my SI. The cover image is by LinaLeeZ on Deviant Art.
(Summary - waking up against grass in the middle of a park? Weird but I can deal. Waking up in a different body? Still weird, but atleast I'm taller. Waking up with an Ultimatrix on my arm? Well fuck everyone else, I'm winning! Waking up in Brockton Bay? ... Well shit. SI into Worm with an Ultimatrix. I'm kinda an asshole though.)
The first thing that let me know something was wrong was the headache I had. I didn't drink, mainly because I was too lazy to buy alcohol, but I was pretty sure I was experiencing hangover's bigger and more violent brother. I didn't want to move or even open my eyes, all I knew was pain... And it slightly pissed me off, because what the fuck did I do for this to be the result? (Note to self... Hurt past me.)
The second thing that told me something was wrong was the fact I felt grass. I lived in the fucking BRONX, in a goddamn apartment complex... (So why the fuck am I touching grass?! HOW am I touching grass?) I had no idea, and the only way to find out what was going on was to open my eyes and actually do something... Which i didn't want to do because pain and lazy.
Though it was the third thing that got through to me despite my inherent lazy ass and the headache that was hitching a ride. (Holy shit, I'm freezing!) My eyes opened, and the sudden bright lights of the sky, sun, clouds... Pretty much everything really, didn't do me any favors. Shutting my eyes, and putting an arm over my eyes just to make sure I was good, I internally groaned. (Oook... Let's not do that again.)
Taking a bit to try and ignore the elephants doing some kind of routine in my head, I moved my arm away, and slowly opened my eyes. The sky was blue, clouds were white, and trees were green. "Alright, so far so..." I blinked. That... That wasn't my voice... "The fuck?" I KNEW that wasn't my voice, but it came from my mouth either way...
Confused, and a little worried, I forced myself up. I had to figure out what was going on, and no way was a headache going to stop m...- I paused, then blinked again. I had to take a few more seconds on this one, making sure I wasn't imagining it, then nodded when I was sure it was real. "... I can see... Huh." I wasn't even bothered by the voice that came out of my mouth, more surprised at the fact I wasn't seeing blobs of color or things that vaguely looked like other things when I was more then a few feet away. "Okay... I can work with this."
Putting that aside for now, I focused on getting up... Which was easier said then done. I was freezing, my head hurt, and my everything felt a little weird... But I managed...
After a few minutes...
Anyway, now that my feet were on the ground, I could start looking around. But given the whole 'Better eyesight, different voice, and totally taller then I was before' thing, I was going to look at myself first...
And I instantly figured out what the hell was going on when my eyes landed on the gauntlet on my left arm.(AF/UA Ultimatrix) As soon as I saw it, my brain froze, and I could've sworn I saw the buffering wheel out of the corner of my eye. (... There's no fucking way, right?) My right hand started moving towards the gauntlet, and I didn't stop it.
If it worked, then I would know all I needed to know. If it didn't work then I'd know that someone was fucking with me.
So, letting it happen, I watched as my hand reached the dial, catching my breath when it popped up and the hologram of Heatblast popped up. I was tempted, so fucking tempted to slam the dial down and test if this was real or not, but then the chill hit me, and I remembered I was surrounded by grass and trees... "Let's not." Twisting the dial, I could feel my eyes widen and my lips split into a massive smile as I saw other choices.

That made me pause and realize another thing. (Wait a minute... Where's Stinkfly?) It wasn't that I liked the guy, he was a giant bug that smelled like shit, but I thought he would be with the rest of the original 10... (Well, maybe he's somewhere ahead.)
Shrugging, I moved on to the next icon, which was one of my favorites. Echo Echo - Italics.

Heatbl...- I blinked. "Wait, what?" Twisting the dial again I was met with Wildmutt. Taking a minute or two to cycle through everything again, I saw that yeah, those were all the guys I had... (Sooo, no Stinkfly, Ripjaws, Ghostfreak... Spitter? I think that's his name? No that guy. Buzzshock, which sucks because I could just fuck around and fuck with everyone... Maybe that's why I don't have him...) Considering my first thought was to be a dick and fuck with people, maybe it was a good thing. (Whatever. No Frankenstrike... Which is still a dumb name, call the fucker Frankenstein and move on.) Huffing at the missed opportunity, I thought of who else I was missing. (Uh... Ditto? I'm missing him... Eye Guy... Thank fuck, nothing should have that many eyes...Oh... Oh shit...) Cycling through the dial a few more times, I saw that no, I didn't have HIM. (Nooo! I don't have Way Big!) My day was ruined.
Ever since I saw the movie with Way Big, I wanted to be that big ass mother fucker and just do big ass mother fucker things... And now I couldn't! (Fucking hate it here.) Huffing, I tried to pretend that everything was fine... Which was actually doing wonders for my headache. (Okay, who else am I missing?) Thinking for a bit, I eventually figured it out... (Well shit... No Alien X?) I'd cycled through the selection enough times to recognize that I hadn't seen the instant 'Win Condition.' (My day is even more ruined now!) But then I remembered the episode Ben used Alien X, and the fact it came with two voices in my head that argued about what to do with their omnipotent powers... (Ya know what, never mind.) I knew that even if I DID have Alien X, I'd never manage to convince whoever I got to do shit. I wasn't exactly overflowing with Charisma, so I'd be shit out of luck trying to convince them to do anything.
Moving on from that, I thought about who I didn't have from Alien Force/Ultimate Alien... Which was a little harder because I didn't re watch those seasons as much as I did the original. (Uhhh... I don't have... Wait a second... I don't have Rath!) The wrestling tiger was a favorite... Thinking about it, I was pretty sure everyone loved Rath... But thinking about it even more, I realized that even if I could, I wouldn't actually turn into Rath. I was an introvert and was pretty into just not wanting to deal with people or stuff if I could avoid it. It also didn't help that the tiger was everything I wasn't, and could end up making me lose control... So yeah, I could deal with not having Rath. (Who else... Fasttrack?) I was drawing blanks here, and after a few minutes of not knowing who else I was missing, I just shrugged. I didn't have them so they didn't matter.
Looking at my selection, I hummed at Astrodactyl, knowing he was from Omniverse... A season I didn't watch because I'd kinda ended up watching YouTube and gaming more then watching TV. I knew ABOUT it, and even some of the aliens from it because of fan fictions I read, but I didn't really know much else. (Eh, anyway. Alien time, go go go!) Cycling through other aliens, I found the best guy for my situation.
Taking a breath, I had a moment where I was worried about this not working, and someone just fucking with me, but then my Ben 10 fanboy brain kicked in and I SLAMMED the dial before I could really think about it. A flash of green was the immediate reaction, and then everything changed.
I wasn't sure if it was ever really explained, it probably was and I just wasn't remembering it, but the feeling of going alien was so... Empowering. I could feel everything, my hair rustling, my fingers itch and twitch, feel and hear my heart beating like a drum. I could feel 'Myself' and all that I was, and I could also feel it change. I felt my hair recede, my hands and feet change, as well as the wings growing from my back and wrapping around me like a cloak.
I felt it all in one moment, and when the green light disappeared, I knew I was different, but still 'Me.' And despite there not being any compulsion or anything like that, I couldn't help myself. "Big Chill." The vapor that left my mouth had nothing to do with the cold.
An unexpected but welcomed side effect of me transforming was that I didn't have a headache anymore. With my head cleared, I had the clarity to think... And accept the fact that I got fucking Isekai'd in my sleep! (What, no ROB? No 'Hey I'm God and you're dead.' Nothing?!) I was so annoyed that I almost didn't notice the way my wings twitched with my annoyance. Shaking off the annoyance, I huffed, and got back on track. (So, I'm somewhere... But I've got the Ultimatrix and a bunch of aliens, so I'm pretty much winning wherever I am.)
There was no doubt that this was real, my dreams weren't this lifelike, and I didn't know how transforming was supposed to feel, so my dreams couldn't replicate that. Plus, I'd read way too many fan fictions and watched a fuck ton of anime, so the idea that this could happen wasn't some fucking divine revelation to me. (Plus, it helps that I'm fine with this. Aliens and superpowers wins out against being a normie.) I didn't care about having an existential crisis or worrying about my family, I just wasn't that kind of guy. If it was too much of a hassle to deal with, or I just didn't care enough about it, then I'd ignore it until I forgot about it.
It wasn't exactly healthy, or good to do, but it worked for me.
"... I'm thinking too much." Waving away my thoughts, I spread my wings, exposing the body of Big Chill to the woods... Or wherever the fuck I was. "Now, time to find out where I am." Going intangible, which was weird to do because I instinctively knew how to do it, I took to the sky, another thing I just instinctively knew how to do.
Flying... Flying was awesome. Sure, there was no wind at the moment considering I was intangible, but I could get with just taking some time out of my day to ju...- My eyes caught something ahead of me... FAR ahead of me. I absentmindedly appreciated that Big Chill's species saw in 1080P even over miles, and stared at the building that caught my attention.
I'd seen big buildings before, I'd been to the Empire State Building before, but it wasn't the size of the building I was looking at... It was the name. A name I recognized from one of my favorite worlds... A world I was now stuck in. 'Medhall.'
Now, I'd read enough Self Inserts and Worm stories to know where this was going, and I knew better. So, making my way down, and resolutely ignoring anything happening around me, I landed back in the park I'd woken up in, turned tangible, and slapped the dial as I thought about the best speedster.
A flash of green light and one transformation later, I was XLR8. Making sure my visor was down, I instinctively lowered myself into a runners stance, then took off in a blur of blue and black. The world becoming nothing but particularly pretty blurs as I focused on the road and my thoughts.
I was in Worm, but that didn't mean I had to stick around in this god forsaken city. I'd figure out a plan later, but not here. Not in the city with Nazi's, slavers run by a Dragon, crackheads with super powers, and a save scumming bastard.
Fuck that.
Fuck ALL of that!
(Ugh, why couldn't I have been dropped into a Slice of Life world? I would've been God Emperor in a week!) Mentally sighing, I kept running. Bitching could come later, getting out of the state, if not the country, came first.
