For an entire month, Liam spent his time with his sister and the others in his villa instead of going to his apartment. Most of the time, he was on his laptop, searching for books that could be helpful.
Currently, he was sitting with the others in the living room and watching a movie when he got a call. He stared at the name for a few seconds before picking up his phone and walking out.
Once outside, he smiled widely before picking up the call. "Are you back?" he asked excitedly, sounding as if he had been missing her a bit too much.
"Yes, I'm at my house, so why don't you come here first?" she said, and Liam paused for a second.
"Um, I'm with my friend. I'll be there once I'm done with this stuff."
Sounding angry, she replied, "Are you telling me that you don't want to spend time with me?"
"That's not what I meant. Fine, I'm coming," he said and hung up on her, clearly sounding frustrated.
