As he felt the bear's heart beat inside the liquid, he let out an excited yelp. But after a few seconds, he went back to work, controlling both the liquid and the heart.
The heart sucked in the liquid from one hole and pumped it out from another. Liam focused on pushing the liquid into the heart and then controlled the heart to pump it out. Time slowly passed, but there were no changes other than the amount of spiritual energy being consumed from the air nearby.
By the time the sun rose, Liam stopped. The heart inside the liquid floated to the surface.
"A failure... oh well," he said, grabbing a cloth nearby to lift the hot pot. He then threw it into the waste pit where all the tribe's waste was dumped.
'I don't feel any kind of spiritual energy from it anymore, so it'll be fine,' he thought as he walked back to his hut and tossed the cloth aside before lying down on his bed and closing his eyes.
