Approximately an hour later, Liam walked back to his apartment with a large cardboard box. After tossing it onto his bed, he sat down beside it and sighed.
'Just what in the hell am I doing... first Jane, then Rebecca, and now Skye. I never acted like this in my past life,' he thought, frowning.
He looked around and found the room empty, as he had expected since Nolan was in the kitchen making dinner for everyone. With his consciousness split in two at the moment due to his clone, he tossed the box into his inventory.
A few kilometers away, his clone sat in a cab as it moved out of the district. Since his consciousness was split in two, he had to control both bodies simultaneously, which put some strain on him. It wasn't much, so he only felt a slight sting in his head. He originally planned on keeping the box of containers with himself for a while, but since no one saw him bring it into the apartment, he used the chance and sent it to his empty inventory.
