"Sophie's bikini armor is r 'enchanted' the sexier she is, the stronger her defense, which is why all the sword attacks are just bouncing right off her." My mother turned to me and said, "I don't know if I should commend you for making something so absurd, or criticize you for creating such a ridiculous enchanted item. Though it's obvious she's not trying; I mean, she's barely using any magic. Not to mention, she seems to be intentionally getting hit." They continued to clash, moving around at light speed. After about 20 minutes, she finally triggered the barrier of her opponent.
After a while, the other matches end. I say, "Looks like I'm up for round two." My mother laughs and says, "No, they'll still be doing round one, though this time it'll be 100 rings at the same time, since I'm not there. There's no need for 20 small arenas to make sure the barriers are strong enough." Sophie joined us in the observation chairs, and we continue to watch for several hours before it was finally my turn to fight again. I entered the arena the moment it started, and my opponent cut off my arm. That's what I get for trying to block with my hands. Given the fact that I used turtle Shell, I should have been able to block a regular sword. I see is it's R Enchanted with sharpness, increasing its cutting power.
I use magic to create a frozen sword of metal and ice, beginning to fend off his sword strikes. Normally, things get more brittle when you freeze them. However, I use earth magic to produce a sword made out of a magical metal that becomes more durable the colder it is, and then I encase it in ice using ice magic. I'm purely on the defensive, blocking my opponent's attacks. My sword is being chipped, prompting me to repair it using my mana. However, the disadvantage is that the durability will always be inferior to something made from actual materials compared to my sword, which is just composed of magic. Even if you were to use spirit magic, unless that particular spirit was good at making something like a sword, you would get a crappy sword out of it. The upside is that you wouldn't have to use any mana to maintain its existence, but the downside is that you couldn't pour mana into it to repair it since it would actually be made of steel or whatever material you asked the spirit to make it out of. My blade is more like a bunch of magic that simply mimics the properties of the material I conjured, but in truth, it's just magic.
After 20 minutes of constantly defending against high-speed attacks, they seem to lack power but are ridiculously fast. I smile; my severed arm has been suspiciously letting out large amounts of blood. I already know my healing magic is not good enough to regenerate limbs, but thanks to my species' unique magic resilience, I'll eventually regrow my arm. It will take about a month or two. The blood had been quietly leaking out of my severed arm, forming a magic circle, specifically a demon summoning circle. Devils are the highest form of demon, and I summoned Sophie. She immediately launches an attack, piercing my opponent, who is too focused on myself, triggering the barrier, indicating it was indeed a lethal attack. He turns around and says, "That's cheating!" However, the referee, who suddenly appears in the ring, says that it's fine since she summoned her ally. If both of them entered the ring at the same time and tried to start the fight as a two v one, then it would have been grounds for disqualification. However, since she summoned an ally, it's classified as a legal move. The healers then use their healing magic on me to instantly regrow my arm. I wince as Sophie punches me in the face, that for making me worry.
