But on the way to their sect, the older one finally decided to speak up, her face still completely red. "W-What do you think about r-recruiting him i-into the Blood Battle Group? H-He's a really i-i-intersting... g-guy..."
"Y-Yes, t-that's a great i-idea..."
...
"Sigh..." Mo Fan sighed. "Why did she have to fight me right in the shop... it's a fucking mess now..."
"Sigh, well, I guess I should just tidy up a bit then-" the golden-haired guy was saying as he picked one of the shelves that had fallen, but almost immediately he was interrupted by the door of his shop opening again, a cold, beautiful figure entering, Su Yan.
"Oh, hey, senior sister Su Yan," Mo Fan greeted her with a smile, instantly letting the shelf on a random table and going to attend her. "Sorry that it's a bit messy here... did you perhaps come here for the weapon you requested?"
"Yes, is it ready?"
"Yeah, I finished it about two days ago…" Mo Fan replied before walking behind the counter and then starting to look for something under it. "I should have left it here somewhere, please just give me a minute."
"Not here..."
"Not this..."
"Not this either..."
"Oh, yeah, here it is!" Mo Fan finally took out a long black box seemingly made of iron and placed it on the counter. "Inside of this box, there's your sword. I had to put it in this box of Black Iron because a normal one wouldn't have been able to contain its icy properties... hehe, you know, I didn't want to risk my entire workshop freezing..."
"Your entire workshop freezing?" Su Yan's eyes widened upon hearing Mo Fan's words. That was the first time she had showed any emotion, but it was normal... after all, she had only heard about weapons like that only in legends! Had Mo Fan really been able to craft something like that? He had to be lying! "Are you really sure about it?"
"Well, I risked to die frozen quite a couple of times while crafting it... if not for my Qi being very hot, I wouldn't be able to talk to you today," Mo Fan said and then, imbuing his hands with his Qi, he opened the black box, a bitter and cold mist immediately being released.
As the icy mist proceeded to spread across the workshop, the temperatures inside lowered more and more, causing the windows to even start freezing. At this sight, Su Yan's eyes couldn't help but shine. She hadn't even seen the weapon yet since there was still too much mist covering it, but she already knew that it was her perfect soul mate. A weapon capable of freezing its surroundings with just its presence... it was so... so fantastic! With it, her strength would reach a whole other level. She couldn't have wished for more! And what was more surprising was that this golden-haired, tempered body stage guy had been able to forge it when he was trembling just at its presence! Just how much work had he put on it?
"May I present to you..." Mo Fan began, the icy mist slowly dissipating from the weapon, its great figure now visible to Su Yan, whose eyes only shone brighter then. A great blue blade with a phoenix flying around it. That's what Su Yan saw. Was it just the phoenix that Mo Fan carved on it? No, the sword was resonating with her... the sword was resonating with Su Yan! The sword had just met its true and only owner!
"This... is the Yin Phoenix Sword!"

"Wow..." That was the only word that Su Yan was able to say; she was far too amazed by the sword's magnificence to say anything else. The phoenix seemed alive; it had now stopped flying like she saw it doing before, but it still seemed to be looking at her with its icy blue eyes. Well, it had to be said that, despite that being the first time carving something on a sword for him, Mo Fan had done quite a great job with that phoenix. Su Yan seemed to really love it. She seemed completely lost into it.
"Senior sister, Su Yan, It's quite pleasant seeing you with such an expression..." Mo Fan said to recall her attention, which worked immediately as she instantly moved her face to meet his again, but there was something strange. Was that redness on her face a little blush? Had the Ice Queen, Su Yan, just blushed? And because of such an innocent compliment?
"What are you looking at?" Su Yan coldly said to Mo Fan, after making her little blush pass in less than a second.
"Uh... nothing... I just think that I should show you some of i-it's ability... well, i-if that's good for you..." The golden-haired kid replied embarassed. He had been caught staring at her face by her! It was so embarassing! He had never felt so embarassed in his whole life!
"Yes, thanks!" Su Yan smiled at him, making him even more embarassed. Her smile was just too beautiful!
'Mo Fan! You are a man! You shouldn't be embarassed by such little things! And you even have a girlfriend!' He repeated to himself inwardly before taking the Yin Phoenix Sword and making his way towards the back door of the workshop. "Follow me then..."
...
After ten minutes of walking...
"Ehm, junior brother Mo Fan... are you sure that this is the right way?"
"Well, we couldn't have just tried its power on a random tree..." Mo Fan turned his whole body to face Su Yan. "It would have a waste! It's much much better to try it here, in the Black Wind Forest!"
As Mo Fan kept talking a shadow appeared on Su Yan and continued to increase. "The monsters here will be perfect for the Yin Phoenix Sw-"
"Ehm, Mo Fan..." Su Yan suddenly interrupted him, pointing at something behind him. "I think that someone has heard that you wanted a fight..."
~Roar~
A great roar immediately came straight from behind Mo Fan's head, startling him and making him instantly turn towards it, only for him to see a completely red bear roaring at him. "It's a Red Hind Bear!"
"Haha..." Although a bit scared at first, Mo Fan quickly regained his composure and confidently draw the Yin Phoenix Sword to face the Red Hind Bear. He had an invincible weapon with him, why would he be scared? And against only a 2nd Order Beast at that? He could probably beat it even without the sword, let alone with it! "Senior sister Su Yan, I'll now show to you the power of the Yin Phoenix Sword!"
~Roar~
The Red Hind Bear started gathering fire into his mouth, while Mo Fan was instead charging the Yin Phoenix Sword with nearly all of his Qi. He had to impress his customers after all, hadn't he?
Then, an instant later, the two released their attacks, fire meeting with ice. Immediately, Su Yan's eyes widened once again. The Ice created by the sword was rapidly freezing the bear's fire! Ice was freezing fire! She had never seen something like that! And Mo Fan wasn't even an Ice cultivator, so what could the sword do in her hands?
"Senior sister, I'll now release the sword's full power!"
'There's even more power?' Su Yan thought shocked. But what she saw after shocked her even more. The phoenix carved on the sword's blade started being filled with Mo Fan's Qi, and once it was full of it, it began shining of an intense blue light. The light then condensed into the form of a giant blue Qi Ice Phoenix. "Yin Phoenix Sword: Frostbite!"
And at Mo Fan's swing, the giant ice blue Qi Phoenix flew at max speed at towards the Red Hind Bear, instantly freezing it together with its flames before completely disappearing in the air.
"Wow..."
