Chapter 4 - A New Purpose

Upon reaching the base, Ailord placed both monsters outside while he went inside to store Walker and recharge its energy. After that, Ailord came out, sitting under the same tree while observing the two large creatures that could potentially feed him for about two weeks, maybe even three if he managed his supplies properly.

Ailord was also brainstorming ideas on how to create a meat storage space. He hadn't decided whether to cut them into smaller pieces or leave them 'whole' like that. Honestly, he no longer had the energy to do any more heavy work. The earlier battle had consumed not only his physical but also mental strength.

As for creating some assistance like drones or robots, Ailord was also drained of energy to create something with complex forms. He could create fantasy creatures, but his imagination couldn't work well under these conditions.

However, he had just gone through a life-and-death situation. No ordinary person could remain relaxed after that. Ailord felt lucky he could still breathe and not become lunch for the lizard. Otherwise, he might have already been food in its stomach.

His hands trembled slightly as he imagined it. One fatal mistake, and his life would end, making him wonder. How could the main characters in those stories maintain their sanity?

Ailord took a long breath, trying to calm himself, although his heart said otherwise. The beating felt more like a war drum than the heartbeat of someone who was fine.

If he continued like this, he could very well go insane.

He shook his head, suppressing every feeling that kept clawing from within, wanting to drag him into the thick darkness. Ailord stood up, dispelling every bad shadow and began working on the building now emerging in his mind. As much as possible, he worked quickly to avoid consuming his already fragile mental state. At the same time, he maintained the imagination of the building to keep it in prime condition or else the result wouldn't be as good as envisioned.

Ailord started shaping its initial forms while constantly estimating what should be inside to make it function well as a large freezer.

Fortunately, he always got clients from large factories and even the military, thanks to his talent in shaping 3D models according to the clients' expectations. This not only deepened his modeling skills but also added to his knowledge of various models requested by them. Some ideas from those models were now being used to create buildings on the screen.

He began shaping each cable, installing them on the walls that continued to extend outward until reaching the outer wall of the building. He didn't forget to shape the compressor, which functioned to place cold gas and push it to the condenser. Then the condenser would dispose of the heat from the compressor's output. Next was the evaporator to draw hot air from inside the room.

Not forgetting, Ailord created several new solar panels, especially because the cold room would consume quite a bit of energy. He also started to ponder whether to create a defense system or leave it as it was for the time being. For some reason, none of the monsters approached the grassy field here, as if something was preventing them from setting foot on it.

Ailord didn't know if it was a blessing or a curse. Perhaps, the place he was in now held a big secret.

But Ailord didn't want to think about that now; he had to finish this before the sun was replaced by the moon. Or moons, because he didn't yet know how many moons were on this planet.

Using up 3000 points to materialize the building in front of him made Ailord grimace slightly, imagining the hard-earned points quickly depleting within just two hours. At least now he could store the meat and not worry about it spoiling.

"Ah... Finally, I can rest. More than this, I really can't take it," he said as he fell to the ground, observing the large building in front of him, once again a bit larger than estimated. Ailord still struggled to adapt to the models on the screen that would appear before his eyes. It would take a little more time before he could truly master it.

However, like any other artist, he certainly wouldn't stop there. Especially when a new idea suddenly popped into his head, sending shivers of joy throughout his body. A broad smile formed, knowing that the creation following this would provide him with so much help when exploring the forest.

Ailord rose to his feet, moving much faster than when he was shaping the cold room. So focused was he that he didn't even realize the sun had set, replaced by two beautiful moons in shades of blue and purple. Ailord, illuminated only by the light from the front of the cold room, continued to work, striving to fulfill every artist's desire.

That is, to witness their creation become reality.

Upon completing the final piece, a long sigh escaped his mouth, slightly breathless. He hadn't expected to push himself beyond his limits. Something that only happened when Ailord truly wanted to create something and not just do a job. Something he hadn't felt in quite some time.

Although this creation consumed as much as 2000 points, Ailord was not bothered at all. On the contrary, he felt it was worth it. Because the help they would provide couldn't be measured using points. With this, his goal of mapping the forest would be completed much faster than doing it alone, and he could face more monsters, not just for food, but also for the experience.

Now, in front of him, there were several Recon AI in the form of small circles, almost the size of mosquitoes. With such a small size, why are they expensive, you ask? Of course, because these objects are more advanced than the cold room. Moreover, their quantity is not small but many. Ailord felt a little indulgent when choosing the number he wanted to materialize in the real world. There were as many as 10 Recon AI, which he then named "Overseers."

They all flew in front, silent thanks to Ailord who replaced them with omni-directional turbo jet minis. Who would have thought that something like this could be seen in the real world? It had never been imagined that he could see high-end tech with his own eyes. Something that still needed quite some time to be created on Earth.

Truly, his talent was both a blessing and a curse. Because now, Ailord felt he had to be able to create something even greater than the Overseers. Something that could fulfill the desires in his heart. Something that would continue to ignite a fiery passion within him, growing larger and larger.

Ailord realized that once he entered this phase, there would come a time when he would suffer from 'art block'. The most cursed phase in the world. A phase where you no longer know what to create and lack the energy to create it even after resting. Ailord had to restrain himself a bit to prevent this from happening again, or it would take quite some time to regain the temporary spark of enthusiasm.

"Once I finish mapping the forest, I'll form a few small squads to assist me. It's something I've longed for so much. It will take some time to gather the points and the effort, which undoubtedly won't be small. But I can already feel something I've desired ever since I got into 3D, and I won't back down until I've achieved every one of those dreams," he said confidently, lying on the grass while gazing at the sky, where the two moons above appeared full and shining brightly. Like the pair of eyes staring back at them.
