It's a bear? A creature non-existent in there star system. It was extinct along with the mother world of humanity and everything on it.
Although genetic banks of almost all earth creatures were taken before leaving the mother world, there has massive debate about if they should be reintroduced in existence and if they would all survive or mutate or maybe lose all their female(women to be specific) kin like mankind did.
Anyway, let's get back to the current situation.
There is giant bear by the hole made by protective orb and it seems to want to dig it out(the orb) .
Mahlia in soul projection form came out of the soul sea of Mika when the lifeform announcement came through. She wanted to know what this creature was up to but never thought it would really dig out the orb.
"what does this bear think he is doing?" Mahlia could only watch nervously as the bear dug out the orb and procide to do strange things to it.
"Does this silly bear take the orb for food?"
She later realized that it seemed to be doing some kind of inspection on the orb than started rolling it away.
Poor Mahlia almost had a heartattack, and she was an ai system. That was not supposed to happen!
The angry almost shocked to death system projection could only watch as the damn bear rolled the orb her master was in through the woods roughly and couldn't do anything.
The only thing she could be thankful for was that the orb in it current state was unbreakable. But that didn't mean the person inside won't be miserable.
Mahlia could only forcefully put down her anger at the bear and use some of the already low energy to create a buffer around the sleeping Mika to prevent injuries from all the rolling. She thought it would continue like that (the normal rolling) back to wherever the bear was going until it (the bear) started playing ball with the orb.
Mahlia almost spit blood(if systems could) and her data kept twitching as if to show anger.
'this dead bear, see how I make you look good later' Mahlia though looking down murderously at the oblivious and happily playing bear who was rolling his master into trees and stones .
"I really want to roast this bear over a lava pool."
But no matter how angry she was, she could only hope that things could not get worse from now on.
As time went by, it seemed that the damn bear wouldn't do anything worse. But Mahlia still felt her heart hurt seeing the orb smashing into trees and stones.
After some time traveling from the crush site, the bear arrived at a river side and proceed to have a talk with a bird (it looked strange to Mahlia) and than turned to a different direction and rolled her master that way.
'poor master has really suffered. Hopefully he never finds out about this.'
_______________----------------______________
Ozi looked at the egg like thing infront of him and wondered what this bear was thinking when decided it was a good idea to bring this hear.
It may look like an egg but instinct told him it was not, even though it contained a life within it.
" Well, is it an egg? " Kinnai asked. He had been waiting for the bird to say something for a while now and getting restless.
Ozi gave the restless bear a contemptuous look for a second then turned his attention back to the egg thingy.
"it's not an egg." he said and jumped on top of it.
"it seems more like a shell for protection . There is a weak sleeping or dieing life in here, I don't know which it is. "
'A life! And I had been rolling it around so roughly? ' A look of shame and guilt appeared on his face.
Ozi saw the look and knew the bear had probably done something wrong.
"Is it going to be fine? " kinnai asked feeling bad for earlier.
"The more important question is, what did you do to it? "
"NOTHING! " he said loudly and with guilt.
I'd be a big idiot to tell him about it. He would scold me tell my ears hurt.
'The look on his face says it all, he definitely did something wrong.'
"tch. Fine, don't tell me if you don't want to but you must take care of it well if you want to keep it. "
"I will. " kinnai said looking at the egg.
'I will definitely look after you to make up for rolling you into things.
Than let's go home'
Kinnai said his good bye to his friend/neighbor and left for his cave, now gently and carefully moving the egg(or shell) thing before him. He would raise it well if it hatches.
