The bathroom was a surprisingly calm, peaceful escape, a stark contrast to the rest of the crumbling building. As soon as I stepped in, the sound of soft trickling water greeted me, almost like a gentle stream flowing through the room.
The walls were lined with smooth, cool stone, and vines crept in from the corners, their leaves trailing along the edges, but here it felt intentional, adding a touch of life to the space.
The bathtub, carved from dark stone, was deep and inviting. Warm water filled it to the brim, steam rising in soft, curling wisps. The scent of fresh herbs lingered in the air—lavender and something else I couldn't place, maybe rosemary or mint, creating a soothing aroma that instantly relaxed me.
