CLANG!
Nagi and Mei Mei clashed weapons, the force causing fissures in the ground around them.
"Where did a woman like you come from?"
Nagi ignored Mei's question and sent lightning coursing through her weapon, causing Mei to break off the clash in fear of being electrocuted.
CAW! CAW! CAW!
A litany of crows soared past Mei towards Nagi with cursed energy soaring through them.
With incredible speed and agility, Nagi dodged all of them by jumping around the walls in the station, using the ceiling to launch herself towards Mei Mei.
Or so she thought.
The moment she approached Nagi to counter her, the woman strangely swept her hand to the side, causing Mei to follow suit as she thrown through the wall like a ragdoll.
Before her target could even react, Nagi captured Ui Ui by the neck and electrocuted him with vicious purple lightning, causing the boy to wail in pain.
"Brother!"
Mei Mei recovered from the attack within moments, but she was too late to save her brother from harm.
Nagi threw the boy's body to the side and pulled Mei Mei towards her with her telekinetic abilities, her blade pointed forward in hopes of skewering her target on the blade.
"Tch!"
Mei Mei stuck her axe into the ground to slow herself down and sent another flock of crows at Nagi with a wave of her hand.
"It's useless."
Nagi flipped the katana into a reverse grip and stabbed the ground beneath her, sending lightning coursing into it as a protective ionic field formed over her.
The lightning field trapped the crows within it, seemingly rendering them useless.
But this was an opportunity for Mei Mei.
The woman quickly formed a handsign which caused one of the birds to start acting strangely as it suddenly pushed through the barrier with incredible speed.
"Hm?"
Although surprised by this feat, Nagi immediately drew her sword from the ground and raised it with the blade facing the crow, cutting it in half by letting the crows own momentum do the job.
As the lightning field deactivated itself, Nagi whipped the blood off of her blade and started walking towards Mei Mei.
"Why attack my brother first? I'm curious."
Mei Mei glanced at Ui Ui, who was twitching on the floor as small sparks of lightning traveled across his body.
'How could he have been knocked out so easily? Is her lightning that lethal? And if she was going to do that much, why not just kill him?'
In response to her question, Nagi started to speed up her approach.
"It's simple. I felt that he would be more dangerous if left to his own devices."
BZZT!
The moment the last word left her mouth, Nagi was already behind Mei Mei, her blade almost at her neck.
It was as if she was an afterimage.
CLANG!
Mei Mei barely managed to block the attack with the head of her axe but the force of the strike sent her reeling back.
BZZT!
Taking this opportunity to strike, Nagi appeared in front of Mei with another flash of purple lightning and stabbed her multiple times with her katana, ending the flurry by flipping her blade around into a reverse grip, pinning the unfortunate sorcerer into the ground, blade lodged in her abdomen.
It was a gruesome sight.
"Lightning Surge."
Purple lightning surged from her body into Mei Mei's body using the katana as a conductor, viciously electrocuting the woman.
Mei Mei bit her teeth as she refused to scream, instead using all of her remaining strength to pick up her axe.
But it was to no avail.
Her wounds were too grave.
"So...anticlimactic."
Nagi pulled out a cigarette from her pocket and ignited it with a small spark of lightning, looking down at Mei Mei's body with an apathetic stare.
'The spy is eliminated. But now that I think about it...couldn't Master Jin turn her over to our side?'
Nagi gave it some thought as this idea propogated itself within her mind.
It was given even more credence when she remembered that Jin was always saying that they were hurting for true allies.
The only ones they could 100% trust were themselves. And that's only because they basically shared the same soul.
'I'm sure he would appreciate having her power on our side. She's also good with that axe. Then...'
Nagi crouched down and pulled her katana out of Mei Mei's abdomen, whipping the blood off before sheathing the blade.
She then lifted Mei Mei's body with her telekinesis and started walking away with it, heading towards a secure location.
"Hm. If you want your sister, come find me."
With a passing glance and a short word at Ui Ui, Nagi disappeared into the darkness without a trace.
Minutes later, a figure came running down the same hall way and met Ui Ui sitting with his back to a wall, purple lightning still coursing through his veins.
"Ui ui!! What happened here?!"
[9:26 pm, Fukutoshin Line Platform.]
By this time, Gojo had already found Kenjaku and his group on the train platform, but there was something he wasn't expecting. They had let a crowd of people out of the trains on both sides, flooding the platform with innocent lives.
As such, Gojo couldn't fight with his full power at all. It was a precarious situation for the sorcerer.
But, there was something strange going on here. Gojo had been fighting them for a little bit now but it seemed as if the cursed spirits weren't fighting at full power.
It was as if they were waiting for something...or someone.
Gojo noticed this from the beginning. And being the prideful man he is, he was curious as to or who they were so confident in to defeat him.
Of course, he was hoping it was who he thought it was.
And as if his prayers had been answered, the sudden sound of loud, thundering footsteps could be heard descending the stairway to the platform.
They all stopped the battle as the sound assailed their ears.
The civilians on the platform turned towards the sound, curious as to what could produce such an excruciating noise.
Within moments, the source appeared.
With his hands in his pockets and red lightning coursing around his body, Jin appeared on the scene, every footstep of his accompanied by the sound of striking thunder.
Mahito.
Choso.
Hanami.
Jogo.
Dagon.
Kenjaku.
Uraume.
None of them caught Jin's attention. His eyes were only focused on one man.
Satoru Gojo.
Likewise, Gojo immediately ignored the cursed spirits and approached Jin, the two walking towards each other with wide smiles on their faces.
"Long time no see, Jin Itadori. I've been dying to see you!"
The two walked up to each other as close as they could, with Jin's lightning clashing fiercely against Gojo's infinity, the two forces destroying the underground train station.
"Gojo! How long has it been, my friend? Ahh...it's been too long...too long. You know, this will be the last time we meet like this, right?"
BOOM!
Gojo magnified his infinity as a type of force field to push against Jin's overwheming lightning aura, causing the former to respond in kind.
"Of course, Jin. After today, there will only be one! Let's stop wasting time, yeah?"
Gojo immediately struck at Jin with a Blue-enhanced punch while the curse user deflected it with a well placed elbow supplemented with lightning energy, the aftermath of the clash blowing away the civilians around them.
Even the cursed spirits couldn't stop themselves from being blown away from the immense power being released.
"Time to end this, Jin!"
"Then show me what you can do, Gojo!"
