"Tetsutetsu, Honenuki, Tsu, Momo we need to get out of here!" Kenji shouted as he joined them on the wall holding Bakugo and himself in place with chains that emerged from the earth.

"Got it!" Tetsutetsu shouted before burying his hands into the liquified sap surrounding Momo and grabbing a hold of her arm, "Sorry if this is a bit rough."

With a grunt Tetsutetsu pulled Momo free of the amber and before either of them could slip two abyssal chains emerged from the walls to hold them in place, "Thank you everyone, I don't know what I would have done if you guys hadn't come along."

"You'd probably figure something out," Kenji replied to Momo as the ground continued to tremble, "But right now we need to get out of here before whatever is making all that noise reaches us."

"And how do you suggest we do that, oh fearless leader? The big one is covering the only tunnel out of here" Bakugo asked sarcastically, still held aloft in the air by Kenji's chain.

Kenji was silent for a second as he tried to think of a plan before he turned to face Honenuki, "If we pulled off the same trick from earlier could you make a tunnel big enough for all of us?"

A nervous bead of sweat rolled down the side of Honenuki's face as he was suddenly put on the spot, "Y-yeah I can do that, but if I can't find a nearby cavern we could end up suffocating to death."

"That shouldn't be a problem," Momo replied before she held out her hand and a handheld gas canister appeared from her palm, "Just one of these should give us enough oxygen for fifteen minutes."

Kenji nodded, "How many of those can you make?"

Momo winced, "Making all that repellent took a lot out of me, right now I could maybe manage three if I really pushed myself."

A tangible silence fell over the group as everyone weighed the risks, but before anyone could come to their own conclusion the rumbling that had been slowly crescendoing in the background reached its climax.

Kenji whipped his head around just in time to see wave after wave of segmented bodies pour out of the passages leading into the cavern. The sheer number on display was numbing and Kenji felt his breath quicken and his heart pound in his chest.

"We need to go…we need to go right now!" Tetsutetsu shouted but his eyes were transfixed on the army encroaching on them.

"O-on it!" Honenuki stammered as the earth beneath them started to liquify.

"T-there's so many," Tsu muttered seemingly to herself, "W-what happens if they reach the surface?"

Momo reached out and placed a reassuring hand on Tsu' arm, "Then the Pros will handle it. To be honest these bugs chose the worst place to attack."

Tsu nodded but she didn't seem completely reassured.

Meanwhile Kenji had formed a dome around the entire group cutting off their view of the horde, but even then they could still feel the ground tremble beneath them and hear the countless pairs of mandibles clacking together.

"Alright here we go," Honenuki shouted as they started to sink into the earth, "Let's hope there's another cavern nearby."

Aizawa had a dark look on his face, which wasn't unusual but even a blind man could spot the open hostility in his glowing red eyes. Turning his gaze to the source of his anger, Aizawa glared at the mountain of Nymean Soldier Ant corpses in front of him.

How a nest of this size had gone undetected was beyond Aizawa, their underground movements should have been picked up by the Academy's seismographs which were used to prevent situations just like this one. It wasn't the only suspicious detail either.

Blind as bats, Nymean Ants rarely ventured up to the surface and even then the initial sinkhole should have been swarming with soldiers ready to swarm whatever prey might have been lurking nearby.

But the sinkhole was void of any ants, and Aizawa didn't believe that it opening right under his classroom was a coincidence. But trying to piece together the puzzle came later right now Aizawa had to find his missing students.

The initial search and rescue had gone well, despite the depth of the sinkhole everyone in class 1-A had managed to devise their own way to survive the fall and shower of debris. They were also wise enough not to move around and wait for rescue, but not all was well.

A head count had come up with Bakugo, Kenji, Tetsutetsu, Asui, Honenuki and Yaoyorozu missing, even after the sinkhole had been cleared of debris. The only saving grace was that their bodies hadn't been discovered and that out of all the Ant Dread Beast species Nymeans were the least aggressive, often taking prey alive and storing them to eat at a later date.

Though that wasn't a bet Aizawa wanted to take, so he had ventured deep into the dread beast's tunnel. Fortunately it wasn't the first time Aizawa had scouted out an underground nest and he managed to find the first chamber of the nest overgrown with the mushrooms the Nymean cultivated for a foodstock.

"I was hoping to reserve this for later, but it seems like I'm out of options," Aziawa muttered to himself before closing one eye.

 "Divine Divination."

Opening his eye again Aizawa revealed a completely white orb that pulsed releasing a ring of glowing white light that rippled through the air before phasing through the solid stone walls of the cavern.

A second later Aizawa's brain was flooded with countless images to the point where his head began to throb and his eye burned like someone was driving a red hot iron through it.

But after a second the image Aizawa was hoping for came to him, "Found them."

Aizawa's eye reverted back to normal but his pupil was now gray and colorless. Reaching into his pocket Aizawa pulled out a patch that he placed over his colorless orb before turning down a side passage and breaking out into a sprint.
