"I..."

I murmured when I realized what I had received.

Luck really does matter.

I was fortunate with Albedo before of course.

Of course, even with Albedo's knowledge and powers, I am far from the strongest person in this world.

I believe Wonder Woman would have no trouble defeating me.

There are also plenty of magicians on Earth.

I don't spend years studying what the card characters studied; I literally assimilate their knowledge, and they become a part of me.

The same goes for the items from the Dimensional Store. They all provide a lot of opportunities.

What can I say?

In just two months, I've become stronger enough not to fear every shadow in the DC universe.

Now I've received two S-rank items and one A-rank character, which is very, very good.

The first and most interesting one is the Depiction of Nature and Society an S-rank item.

[Depiction of Nature and Society: This item allows the user to isolate space and seal the chosen target or targets in a sealed space where the item's owner can manifest various effects.]

So if I seal a target, I can change the inside of the pace such as by creating permanent lava lands or storm plains.

After some time in this isolated space, various creatures will appear to attack the target.

However, they will all be sixty percent weaker than the target and are meant to wear out the enemy.

This item is fully capable of sealing a god or more gods if they are close to each other.

Of course, there are limitations on the opponent's strength, but it should work on gods capable of destroying continents and the size of the moon.

However, this item can only be used once. I can't use it again, and there's only one opportunity.

The second best card for me personally is Bang, a character from the One Punch Man world and a master of martial arts.

Bang is an S-rank hero in the Hero Association and simply a very powerful old man who can knock down a mountain with a single blow.

"The Trial Arena?"

After reading the description of the item, I knew it was some kind of space where I could train and try my skills without affecting my real body.

It's almost like a virtual reality where I can test my strength against strong opponents which is very useful.

The description had lines about understanding oneself and one's spirit, but it's too vague to understand what to expect.

The only thing I'm interested in is the Actis Interceptor. I guess I'll figure it out when the time comes.

There's no point in pondering for too long, and I immediately began assimilating Bang.

Name: Anthony Joseph Luthor

Race: Primordial Human

Title: Brother of a Villain, Administrator, Head of LuthorCorp

Overall Power: 8-A

Assimilated Characters:

Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark (A) (100%)

Albedo (B) (100%)

Bang (A) (1%)

Abilities: Senjutsu (B+), Aura (C)

Gacha Points: 91

My Overall Power hasn't changed much.

Also, I've noticed that this status only shows my basic strength.

If I strengthen myself with magic, I'll be fully capable of wiping out an entire city from the face of the planet, but I'll have to go all out.

While the Luck Boost Card is still active, I spun the Gacha again.

Massage Technique (D)

Backpack (E)

Comb (E)

Ointment (C)

Sand (E)

Summoning Technique (B)

Street Lamp (E)

Jack the Ripper's Knife (C)

Phoenix Feather (B)

Camera (E)

This time there wasn't anything significantly important.

[The Summoning Technique: This allows the user to summon a creature spiritually close to them.]

The Phoenix Feather is something that I can study later. Apparently, my luck ended here...

Shinoa Hiragi: Administrator-kun, we've been informed about a mission outside the walls of Shibuya or more precisely in Shinjuku. Our newest squad has been sent there because vampire behavior has gotten worse.

This message stirred up a puzzling feeling inside me.

I knew I needed this because I knew it was worth it... but personally killing so many vampires with my own hands even though I understand in my mind that they deserve it but it's still uncomfortable.

Shinoa's world is safer than RWBY's because there are no gods, at least not in the canon.

This is a good world to replenish my medallion with souls.

During my evening stay at Zatanna's mansion, I improved the medallion a bit, but it was a small improvement.

I'm not entirely sure it will work correctly, but I'll be able to test it in practice.

Anthony (Administrator): When do you need to leave?

Shinoa Hiragi: Oh, my heart flutters when Administrator-kun says it in such a tone...

Rias Gremory: This is a chat...

Shinoa Hiragi: I'm proud that I can feel the tone with which Administrator-kun sent it.

Shinoa Hiragi: The mission will begin tomorrow morning.

Anthony (Administrator): Thank you, Shinoa. I'm very grateful.

I had some time before I go into her world.

There's no point in doing anything more with the medallion since I've already tested everything I could.

The meeting with military representatives is scheduled for four in the afternoon, so I have over seven hours of free time.

The Arena of Trials sounds interesting, especially since I can test the skills I obtained from Bang immediately.

I already feel these changes.

My body is subtly changing, becoming stronger, more agile, and more powerful in balance with my humanoid physique.

I'm also very curious about this Arena. I selected it in the Gacha inventory, and I immediately had a card with complicated patterns in my hands.

I could see a fist, lightning, and maybe even blood somewhere on it.

As soon as I used it, my vision got blurry momentarily, and I felt like I was in a dark room that startled me.

Just for a moment, but I remembered that moment when I encountered that entity...

Then, I literally felt in my instinct that I needed to make a choice between Battle Arena or Spirit Arena.

I could barely understand what was happening with all the experience I had. I didn't even grasp where I ended up or how.

I returned to my mind and found myself in the bedroom.

"Mm."

Checking the time, I confirmed that half a minute had passed, meaning time there moves just like in the real world.

"Cortana, can you replay my presence in the room at the last minute?"

I asked out loud, and a small drone immediately flew in, turned on the projector, and played what I had asked for.

My body remained in the room while my soul was elsewhere.

"Thank you."

I nodded, lay on the bed, and then used the card again.

This time, I chose the Battle Arena. For a moment, I was blinded by bright light, and soon I saw... a huge statue of someone.

More precisely, there were many statues, and they were arranged around my position while I stood in the center of a smooth structure.

"Indeed, an arena."

I chuckled.

"It would be strange if it weren't."

The next second, I felt a powerful blow right to my chest after hearing someone's words.

I felt all the power that hit me all that kinetic energy, pure and powerful physical force without any trace of magic or other energy.

One blow, and I felt my aura shatter to pieces, my ribs cracking, muscles tearing, skin being ripped off, organs getting damaged, and lungs starting to fill with blood.

I didn't immediately understand what happened, but I crashed into that statue I noticed earlier.

I embedded myself about two meters into the statue with my back, allowing me to see who was standing in the arena.

It was a tall, long-haired man with hair as red as blood and strange vein-like golden lines covering his hands, but they quickly disappeared.

However, his eyes remained the same: black sclera and golden irises.

"Tch."

I wanted to say something, but I coughed up blood.

I activated my Senjutsu and felt a surge of energy while my aura quickly began to recover. I also applied magic.

"Laeh."

I muttered, and breathing immediately became easier.

"Are you going to be there much longer?"

The red-haired man asked boredly.

"I was needed to test your strength... and it's pathetic. I didn't even use half my strength, and you're already on the brink of death. At least you know how to use magic."

"That was unexpected."

I admitted that I felt something similar to how I felt when I was next to Superman, but not as strong.

This made me feel weak.

The red-haired man wasn't lying, and he struck easily.

I could feel his aura, and he was a god—a real god, not the strongest, but still a god.

The flow of Ki immediately came into motion, and my muscles filled with strength.

I knew it wasn't time to relax, and I pushed Senjutsu to the limit.

I was surrounded by a bright white aura intertwined with Ki, and I also boosted my physical attributes with magic and will.

"Hmm, Well. Give it a try."

He said it without taking me seriously.

Then I made a move with thrust, the arena cracked under my feet, and I broke the sound barrier right from the start.

I sped up and felt my muscles tense up, and then I delivered a blow directly to his torso.

This blow sent out a strong blast that threw everything into the air even the god.

He remained standing, but he traveled across the arena with his feet while a crack appeared under his feet.

At the same time, earth pillars rose from the ground, and he clearly didn't see it coming. He was hit in the face, and I cast a magical seal above him.

"ytivarg eht esaercni!"

I found myself above the arena by increasing gravity more than fifty times for him.

I looked at the stone figures, focused my magic on them, and then began to control them. Several stone giants moved and raised their huge hands to hit the red-haired god with all their strength.

"This is better,"

A relaxed voice sounded, and a bright flash of lightning flared up, and I felt a burning sensation... In my chest, there was a hole the size of a small ball.

"But still not enough."

"Oh, you're resilient..."

Senjutsu quickly began to heal my wound, and I also used alchemy. I pulled out my sword and looked at his smug smile...

"Oh, at least you have somewhat of a decent weapon."

He admitted.

"But, you see, here's the problem..."

I practically felt the danger and created a shield while strengthening it with my will... but it wasn't enough.

The first strike cracked the shield because this strike contained the force of a damn nuclear warhead.

The second strike was stronger and completely shattered the shield.

"...still weak."

"Ahem."

As I rose into the sky, I realized that I had lost my arm and leg. He took my sword in his hands.

"Well, that was a test duel, if you can even call it a duel. Next time, you should fight someone else."

He said it calmly.

"For now, let me show you the power of a God."

There was divine energy flowing through his body like lightning hitting in different directions.

The last thing I saw was the god's crazy grin as he easily destroyed my body with his last attack.

I was back in the dark room where I had to choose.

Battle Arena or Spirit Arena.

However, I turned around and returned to my bed, where I lay down.

"Yes, one must fight strategically not desperately."

I said this while rubbing my hand over my face.

That battle sobbered me up a bit and showed me that even with my techniques and increased strength, I'm nothing compared to a god.

Of course, if I were fully covered in Eighth Metal armor, there would have been a chance, but like this... it's a bit humiliating.

However, I wasn't planning on honestly fighting such opponents anyway because that would just be foolish.

However, I can handle it for practicing strategies and for training purposes. But I didn't even get to try Bang's stance.

I didn't have the chance...
