Kur fell to the ground, his helpless body ignored by the onlookers as they watched him struggle to get up. The army of Rahl had already charged into battle against the soldiers of the seven Kingdoms, creating a chaotic scene. Amidst the chaos, Kur managed to safeguard himself and seized the opportunity to search for the prison, determined to rescue Cara and Tamra.
Meanwhile, Rahl flew back into the fray, flanked by his loyal soldiers. Kahlan gazed at him with a mix of awe and trepidation, aware that Rahl's actions were unprecedented and potentially dangerous. Kahlan knew that Rahl's wrath was not to be underestimated, and that his Black Magic was a powerful weapon that surpassed all others. As Rahl approached, Kahlan cautioned him, 'Get away from here, I don't have time for you now.' Rahl's harsh tone left no room for argument, and god knew that he had to prioritize peacekeeping between the warring factions."
Luckily for Kur, the palace was filled with maps and signs that showed directions to various parts of the palace. He used these to navigate towards the prison, his heart racing with anticipation. As he approached the prison, he was spotted by a few guards who seemed more relaxed than they should be, given the heavy security surrounding the area. Kur realized that there must be something significant inside the prison to warrant such a strong military presence.
Just as Kur and the guards locked eyes, a deafening roar shook the palace, causing them all to stumble. The guards quickly regained their footing, but their demeanor had changed. They lowered their weapons, seemingly unprepared to fight. Kur hesitated, reconsidering his decision to enter the prison. 'Who in their right mind would dare to enter a lion's den after hearing a roar that shook the entire palace?' he thought to himself."
Just as Kur considered fleeing, the massive iron door burst open, scattering the army of guards on the other side. Despite their efforts, they failed to contain the beast, which proved too powerful to be subdued. With its sprawling wings and razor-sharp edges, the creature took to the air, wreaking havoc on the prison's structure and destroying parts of it.
As the prison guards fled for their lives, they abandoned Kur, the king's enemy. Kur remained frozen, sensing a weak presence struggling to escape. He cautiously approached the prison, his nervousness growing with each step. At the entrance, he hesitated, peering into the darkness. The eerie silence and inability to see anything fueled his fear, and he was about to turn back when a hand grasped his attire from behind. "Help me!" The familiar voice jolted Kur, and he quickly turned around, freeing himself from the grip. "You need to save her; she needs the cure." This time, Kur's mind was clear, and he recognized the voice and the urgency of the message.
George, is that you?" Kur asked, astonished. "I can't believe you're still alive after everything!" Kur pulled him out of the dark yard, and they fled together into a quieter area of the palace. "What really happened? How did you escape death after so many years?" Kur asked, curiosity getting the better of him. George countered, "Why don't we start with you? What have you done to yourself? Have you looked in a mirror?" Kur knew George was referring to his new appearance, but he wasn't ready to explain. "Can we talk about this later, after the battle is over?" Kur requested. "If we survive, that is," he added grimly. Without another word, they charged into battle, their powers unleashed against the monsters that stood in their way.
A fierce battle raged between gods as Rahl clashed with King Kahlan, who had interfered in a conflict that wasn't his to fight. God was forced to ally with King Kahlan, knowing that Rahl would slaughter him, especially with his mastery of dark magic. The atmosphere was thick with chaos, blood, and monsters.
Rahl's army was stronger than the combined forces of the seven kingdoms. The powerful wizards and witches of the realms were the last hope for survival. The demons were too powerful, and the entire kingdom was turned upside down. Kur and George fought their way to the palace's center, where Kur stood in awe, horrified by the transformation of the beautiful Kingdom of Hartland into a monster-infested battlefield.
Monsters lurked around every corner, making it difficult for Kur and George to identify the escaped creature they sought, as all the monsters shared similar characteristics. King Kahlan was enraged by the desecration of his palace, his once-beautiful kingdom now drenched in blood. "You will not go unpunished for this!" King Kahlan thundered.
Summoning the black magic within him, Rahl's rival took it to a new level, catching Rahl off guard. "I'm not losing you this time," Rahl vowed to himself as he charged at Kahlan. God knew that both parties were now too powerful to face each other, but he couldn't allow further war. Since King Kahlan was displeased with the palace's state, the solution was to expel the monsters. God called upon his angels, who arrived to remove the hanging monsters. Rahl tried to order his army to fight back, but they were already paralyzed.
