Only the boss and some guards left. Indra has recovered his MP and his fatigue has reduced a lot too. He is ready to face the boss and its generals now.
"A Boss monster and 2 generals. They must've heard the commotion caused by the battle before but they didn't come out."
Indra enters the boss's room and sees the boss is sitting on a throne decorated with skulls & bones. As Indra expected, there are 2 Orcs beside the boss. They are stronger than the Orcs outside but weaker than the boss.
Also, Indra notices that the boss has a lot more marks than other Orcs. The 2 generals also have a lot more than the Orcs outside. He guesses that those marks show their ranks or achievements, but that doesn't really concern him although he is a bit curious.
The boss seems to say something while gazing at Indra from head to toe. He doesn't know what this guy says, but it looks like he is being judged.
"I don't know what you are saying but you are wasting time. Hurry up and come here so I can beat you up."
Indra makes a sign with his hand, telling them to come attack him. The boss frowns before pointing his finger at Indra. Then the 2 generals walk forward to fight the human in front of them while the boss stays on the throne.
"Only the two of you? Fine, come!"
Indra gets into a battle stance and so are the 2 Orc generals. One of them wields a big sword and the other one wields a wooden staff that has a blue crystal orb.
"A Warrior and a Mage, huh? I guess this will be my first time fighting an A-Rank Mage then."
While Indra is pondering what kind of magic this Orc Mage can use, he suddenly gets attacked by magic. But the magic spell isn't a real attack spell, it's a debuff spell. He suddenly feels his power drop, so he checks his status window.
"Oh? All my stats dropped by 20%, that's a rather powerful debuff spell."
However, the debuff quickly disappears and his stats return to normal. It's the effect of his passive skill, Longevity that negates all status effects like debuffs. The Orc Mage is surprised and tries to cast different debuffs on Indra, but nothing works.
In the end, the Orc Mage can only buff its comrade and will use attack spells to fight. The Orc warrior quickly moves to attack Indra after receiving the buffs. He swings his big sword with ease and his attacks are fast.
But Indra can see the attacks in slow motions with his Golden Eyes. Furthermore, the attacks are very easy to read. This Orc just keeps using big moves. Indra guesses that this Orc kept winning battles purely because of its overwhelming power, not skills.
"What a waste of strength. Well, I never expected monsters like you to learn proper swordsmanship skills. I thought only the normal Orcs didn't have good fighting skills, but it seems all of you are like that. You only fight using instincts and reflexes. I guess I don't need to worry about the boss either. It will be easy even though you guys are strong."
Indra has done observing and moves to attack the Orc. He dodges a vertical sword swing and dashes forward. The Orc warrior quickly jumps backward to avoid Indra's attacks, which surprises Indra a bit.
"As if I'll let you escape. Bloodlust!"
Indra uses his Bloodlust skill which can inflict fear on his opponent. But this Orc's stats are quite high, so it won't feel fear for too long and the Mage will also dispel the effect soon. Still, just a moment is enough because the Orc slows down and Indra can catch up to it.
"Gotcha! Say goodbye to Deez Nuts!"
Indra grabs the stunned Orc's right foot and pulls it while raising his right foot. He hardens his right foot and even covers it with lightning before he sends a stomp attack at the Orc's crotch.
*BAM!*
Blood splatters between the Orc's legs. The pain from its nuts being destroyed removes the Orc's fear status. But then its eyes roll upward and foam comes out of its mouth. The Orc's body twitches as it feels the world is coming to an end.
"Here, let me help you feel it more."
Indra shoots a small amount of poison toward the Orc's wound. It enters the Orc's body and increases the pain that's already too much to even be felt. The Orc suddenly stops twitching and Indra gets some XP.
"..... It died just like that? I-I guess it was too painful for this guy. As expected of an ultimate attack."
Indra suddenly jumps to avoid a fireball shot by the Orc Mage. The fireball explodes really strongly on where Indra just stood. The explosion even pushes the dead Orc warrior quite far away.
But just as Indra wants to attack the Mage, the boss jumps toward him, so he jumps back to avoid the boss's attack. Meanwhile, the Orc Mage moves back before casting some buffs on the boss.
The boss wields a pair of big blades connected with chains. Indra can feel a dangerous aura from the blades that glow red. They surely aren't ordinary weapons, so he needs to be wary of them because he guesses those weapons must have special abilities.
As he thought, the blades can produce fire. They are burning and every time the boss swings the blades, strong flame shoots out of them. The flame energy blades are strong enough to cut the floor and the heat even chars it.
Indra is shocked by the power of those attacks. If he gets hit, then he will get seriously injured or even get cut in half. He's glad he can see the attack paths with his Golden Eyes and he is fast enough to dodge them even at a close range.
"Such ridiculous strength and weapons. Even if they are great weapons, if the wielder is weak, then they won't be able to produce such powerful attacks."
If this boss monster comes out of this dungeon, then it will be a disaster. While this boss monster isn't an S-Rank monster, its battle power should be comparable with S-Rank because of its weapons and the Orc Mage's buffs. Many people will die before the hunters can even kill this monster.
"The system clearly detects you as an A-Rank monster. But that's your base power without the buffs & your weapons' power. So I guess you are above A-Rank now. Maybe a low-tier S-Rank. You are strong indeed, but you really can't fight, aren't you?"
Just like its subordinates, this Orc boss doesn't have any decent battle skills. It just relies on its brute strength, instincts, and reflexes to fight. It doesn't use any techniques and just swings its blades as strongly as possible.
Well, even if that's the case, this boss would be able to kill most hunters just because they can't face its raw strength. Not only is it strong, but it is also fast and has inhumane reflexes. This boss has dodged and blocked all of Indra's attacks so far, which never happened before.
To make things worse, the Orc Mage keeps buffing the boss and even attacks Indra with small attacks just to disturb him when the boss attacks him. Luckily, his Golden Eyes and strong sense help him evade all their attacks.
Indra knows he shouldn't prolong this battle or he will get too tired and lose concentration. So he needs to finish it quickly and make a plan. He immediately uses Stealth which surprises the boss and Orc Mage.
The Orc Mage seems to prepare a spell and Indra guesses it may be a spell to remove his spell. But he acts first and black chains start appearing around the boss and Orc Mage, binding them tightly. The Mage's spell breaks because the Binding Chains disturb it.
Indra moves quickly and kills the Mage by twisting its neck. The Orc Mage's death removes all the buffs on the boss which weakens it. This is Indra's chance to finish this and he doesn't wait. He dashes towards the boss who can't move because of the Binding Chains and starts beating the boss.
Punches, kicks, elbows, knees, stomps. Indra uses various attacks at the boss that can't defend itself as it can't move. He hardens his body and coats all his attacks with lightning to increase his attack power.
The boss's body is really durable. It can endure Indra's merciless attacks that would have killed normal Orcs a few times. Blood comes out of its mouth but it still holds on for a while. Still, it eventually succumbs to Indra's merciless attacks and dies.
"Huft, huft, huft! Damn! He's really tough. I thought I would clear this dungeon with ease. Seems like I still have a long way to go."
