Indra continues looking for the other monsters after killing the group of chameleon monsters. He searched for them using his Mapping skill and easily found them. But he never thought that this dungeon didn't just have chameleon monsters.
There are other tree reptilian-type beasts in other parts of the forest. Most of them look like lizards but with strange body parts and colors. Their magical abilities are also different from each other, which makes fighting them quite annoying.
They live in groups quite away from each other's territory and they don't even try to cross to other territories. It helps a little because Indra doesn't need to fight a few groups at once. These B-Rank monsters aren't as strong as he thought, but they are still annoying to fight.
Though they can be good training partners because they are tough enough to withstand Indra's skills. Now, C-Rank monsters will die in 1 hit from him, so he can't really try his skills on them. But these B-Rank monsters are pretty durable.
Maybe it's because of their tough scales, but these lizards that live on trees won't die in just 1 hit or 2. So Indra can use all his skills on them without holding back to see the result. They are the perfect dummies for his current level.
"GREAT! GREAT! YOU CAN FIGHT BACK NICELY EVEN THOUGH YOU RECEIVED SOME DEBUFF SPELLS. NOW I CAN COMPARE MY SKILLS' POWER BY LOOKING AT THE DAMAGE ON YOUR BODIES, HAHAHA!"
If these guys weren't monsters but normal animals, then Indra would've been reported for animal cruelty. He beats them to death while laughing like a devil. Most of his attacks are Muay Thai techniques paired with Lightning Magic.
He can now coat his arms and legs with lightning, so he can combine Lightning Magic with Muay Thai nicely. When he doesn't use Muay Thai, he only uses Magic skills like Lightning Balls or Poison shots. These attacks are weaker than his Muat Thai, but they are long-range attacks, so they are useful to hit enemies that are far from him.
These lizards always stay in the trees, so he uses Lightning Balls and Poison Shots to get them down. Lightning Balls stun them for a moment and they fall when their bodies are stiff. Then Indra will beat them up after they fall.
Poison Shots only work when they enter the targets' bodies, so Indra aims their faces. The poison will enter through either their mouth, eyes, ears, or nose. His poison also releases gas, so it still can affect the targets when they inhale the gas.
Indra's Poison Shot skill has been raised to a high level because he knows it will be very useful. While it can't kill enemies right away, it inflicts great pain on them. He doesn't know how painful it is, but the monsters' reactions show they are in great agony because of his poison, so it must be very painful.
Anyway, Indra knocks the monsters down from the trees using either Lightning or Poison. Then he beats them up on the ground. He keeps repeating this strategy while exploring the forest until he eventually finds the Boss.
The Boss is also a lizard, but it's not on the tree like the others. Maybe because it's too big to climb the trees. After all, it's as big as a school bus and its body length from head to tail is like the length of 3 buses.
This Boss looks like an Iguana with green scales that shine like metal. There are also spikes that seem to be made of crystal around its head, back, tail, and legs. Its gaze seems to be looking down on Indra which seems very weak in its eyes.
Indra ignores it and looks around the trees because he can sense normal monsters around. These normal monsters seem to be the same species as the Boss. That's why they can live together with the boss in this territory.
"18 normals, huh? Lately, the Boss monsters I fight often have bodyguards. Are they afraid of being alone or is it because these higher-level bosses are more intelligent, so they keep their followers near them? Hmm, this is interesting. But, it doesn't change the fact that I need to kill you guys."
Indra creates lightning balls on his hands and shoots them at the normal lizards in the trees and near the boss. Surprisingly, these lizards only seem to get hurt a little. But they don't get stunned and quickly rush to attack him.
"Do they have high magic resistance or their bodies don't get affected by lightning that much?"
Indra hardens his arms and legs before he starts fighting the iguana-like monsters. His attacks are coated with lightning, but the monsters seem to have high immunity to it. Still, they are just immune to his lightning, not his hardened punches and kicks.
With his Golden Eyes, he can see their weak points and hit them in those places to maximize the damage. It's not that hard killing these normal iguana monsters as their weak points are easy to reach, like the left side of their neck.
Strangely, the boss doesn't make any moves even though its subordinates get killed one by one. It only watches the fight as if it doesn't concern itself. Indra is grateful for that, but it is annoying seeing the boss look down on him.
"I don't know what you are thinking, but your face is pissing me off even though I can't see a lizard's expression. At the very least, it seems you are looking down on me. I must be an easy opponent for you, right? Well, that's great. I like crushing an arrogant opponent."
Indra says that while stomping the last normal lizard to death. Then he casts Binding Chains on the Boss. It still has that arrogant look as it tries to break free. But then it gets surprised when the chains don't budge and it can't move at all.
"What's wrong? Are the chains too tight? But I'm still not finished yet."
Indra then casts all his debuff spells. Curse of Weakness, Curse of Slowness, and Curse of Blindness. The boss gets its strength and speed reduced by half, then it loses its eyesight. It roars angrily because of the debuffs as it never thought the little thing he looked down on has this kind of power.
"I didn't use debuff spells on those normal lizards because I didn't need to. Also, I was using them to train my skills. But it seems that made you look down on me too much. So I think I need to give you a small lesson before I kill you. Don't look down on your enemy too much."
The Iguana boss just keeps roaring angrily without listening to him. Then the crystal spikes on its body suddenly glow white. Indra frowns before widening his eyes in surprise as the boss suddenly creates a big rotating wind ball in front of its mouth.
Then the wind ball produces wind blades that fly all over the place. It is aiming everywhere because its eyes can't see after Indra casts the Curse of Blindness. So it just sends the wind blades everywhere because it can't see Indra.
"Desperate, aren't you?"
Indra can dodge all the wind blades that fly toward him easily. He can see their paths clearly with his Golden Eyes, after all.
"How unpleasant."
Indra has moved below the boss's jaw and then he punches it upwards. The punch makes the boss close its mouth, breaking the wind ball instantly. Then Indra moves to the boss's left side and punches its neck's left side.
Its weak points are the same as the normal iguana monsters. But even if he hits the weak point, this boss monster doesn't seem to get a lot of damage. Its scales are very tough and Indra can't break them even though he uses full power.
"This is great! Now I can keep attacking you with full power. You are the best punching bag I have ever found."
Indra is getting excited instead because of the boss's high durability. He starts attacking it with all he has while making sure to cast Binding Chains to restrict the boss's movements every time the spell is about to wear off. So the boss really becomes his punching bag until it eventually dies.
"Sigh, if only I could sell this guy's materials now, I would get a lot of money. But well, he gives me a lot of XP, so that's fine too."
