Exhausting himself in the battle we can see that Kaze and his group were taken away by the Infernal Mages corporation and brought back to the airship to rest in the infirmary wing. While Kaze and his gang are healing we take a look towards the island of battle, still scarred and cleaned up after the incredible battles that took place. A week goes by and we see that the Infernal Mages Corporation deems that this island is just rumored to be haunted and that it's false, Slo welcomes the Infernal Mages Corporation along with Lex, whom is the woman Mizu fought that guarded the Jungle. A small child that looks a lot like Python and Cobra, his name is Gardner. Gardner is seen playing with Sato and Satomi. Sato and Satomi then remember their battle with the Childs parents as it was not long ago they are the reason this child, now orphaned is alone. They begin to feel extremely bad, but they know there is work to be done before any debt is paid. "You be good little one" Sato pats him on his head. "Alright you wo lets go we will drive you back to the main land." Suto says as he gets them to board the ship.
The islands guardians and the left behind as Suto and Kaze who is all bandaged up be, yet Kaze seems upset that he failed to protect the shard. "Reckless, you have the qualities that father shared brother, and don't expect me to solve your problems for you." Suto states as he tells the pilot to cast off for Blackthorn. We see that some of the Infernal Mages Corporation has stayed behind to setup an outpost on the island and to protect it from any further harm as it is a sacred place. As they are sailing Suto, Ryo, Mizu and Kaze are all talking "I am going to reform the shadows and become the Hero of this world!" Kaze screams out and makes everyone turn their heads. "Lord Kaze what do you mean?" Mizu asks in curiosity. "I think you know what it means, we are not just demons given these curses to commit crime and do bad, and we are in fact heroes that can shave a way for the future world." Kaze says with excitement. Ryo, Mizu and Suto all smile and are called in for dinner as the sun is setting. Everyone is enjoying their nice feast in the dining area, and we see them all head off for their cabins as they finish.
The next day they finally arrive back at the port of Blackthorn where a crowd is gathering wondering why Division 0 has brought these individuals with them. "Is that the mysterious Division 0's Commander Suto?" a Man whispers to a woman. "Yeah and look its Lieutenant Ryo! What are they doing here?" some people in the crowd ask. "Who is that with them, the guy with the red hair?" they seemed shocked and confused as they have never heard of a person like this within Division 0. As they walk through the streets and head towards the IMC HQ where they will sit down and be fully debriefed of the situation.
Suto whispers a word into Kaze's ear that sparks a change to his eyes they went blank as if he had turned on a switch. Kaze's eyes begin to glow a crimson read and he begins to murmur as the group listens closely he begins. "Suto, and Kaze so I am glad that you have settled our differences. However the world is at threat by an evil sorcerer known as Xoroku he is one who has obtained immortality, I and the shadows tried to quell him thousands of years ago. He somehow survived and broke out of the seal we have placed him in. I leave the work I your father could not complete and with the help of your corporation to locate the remaining shadows so you guys can get the ancestors of the shadows together and you can take up fight once again in my stead, something feels different from the last time. I feel like you can beat this guy once and for all, I just need you and your brother to work together Suto." Kaze says in a different yet steady adamant voice. "You all heard it from him" Suto states. A person gets up across the table and states "Gregory was beloved by all, and even went to the academy with most of you, but his early retirement had sparked something greater, Kaze is not an evil person. I say we help him." Suto pleads with the others sitting at the table with an unhappy and angry face. "Why should we help him? And to note he is your brother, and who was that, how could a person possibly be alive for over a thousand years?" The one gentleman gets up in a rage. "He seriously injured one of our soldiers, we have the most skilled warriors in all of the kingdoms and yet one of our top officers was injured to the point of retiring by a mere teenager. You knew who did it and said nothing Commander?" Kaze clutches his fist as Mizu grabs it "No, you must not Lord Kaze, let them speak." Kaze lowers his fist and lets the man continue. Kaze bows his head without words, in shock the board understands that loss comes with all responsibilities and continues their meeting as Kaze and Mizu sit down at the table to discuss the next steps.
