As a new morning comes about everyone begins preperations for dealing with the incoming threat. We can see Mizu, Sato and Satomi preparing for a long adventure towards the next corrupted shard. Kaze and company say good-bye to the Infernal Mage Corporation as they begin to depart towards the west. The gang head out towards a huge mountain range. "Kaze, are you sure going back to Lazar is a good idea, we did destroy part of their prison." Mizu says in contention. "Do not worry Mizu, Suto said he will take care of it for us. We should be able to cross the border once we go back through Lazar." As the group is continuing down the road they notice a wagon being attacked by a group of bandits. Kaze begins to grab his sword, but Mizu holds him back "Do not kill them, men like this need brought to justice. Plus if we need to focus on our mission, not create another mess." Mizu says "Sato! Go help them" Kaze points with an annoyed anger and gives a thumb point over hsi shoulder, then folds his arms like a child. Mizu grins, while Kaze makes weird angry faces at him. After Sato returns from quelling the bandits, the group heads over to check on the people within the caravan. "Hey is everyone okay?" Kaze asks. "Yes we are fine, but some of our guards are injured." Satomi comes out and begins casting healing magic "Restore!" she heals all the soldier's wounds which the cook from the caravan treats everyone for lunch as they all sit down and eat while laughing and enjoying their meal, Kaze and the gang wave as the caravan departs towards Blackthorn.
Kaze with a side eye towards the forests as they notice somebody watching them from afar. Kaze peels his head back and looks at the mountain range where he senses a very powerful presence "Do you feel that?" Kaze states, as the others nod and notice it as well. "Guess that Old Man is still alive after all. He owes me money after losing that last game of shogi against me." Mizu snarls. "Sit boy!" Kaze says jokingly and ends up getting into a brawl with Mizu and they both are stopped by something falling out of the sky in the distance. "Was that a Dragon?" Sato asks with a confused look on his face. "Anyways let's pack up and get going we need to head back to Lazar, then cross the border." Mizu says as he begins putting out the campfire.
The group begins to head back towards the direction of Lazar. They then come across a huge line of people waiting outside of a gate. "Hey get in line!" someone shouts to Kaze as he is goofing off. Kaze nonchalantly walks back into line and begins taunting the guy who told him to get in the line. "Alright, show me your identification" the guard screams out to others trying to seek passage into the city. Mizu pulls out everyone's identification and they are allowed to pass after speaking with the guards and them being informed not to harm the city anymore and as the guard quoted "You are lucky to know people in high places" as they walk past receiving dirty and angry looks from the guards.
An old woman is shouting "The forgotten ones have risen, gods champions have come to seek vengeance on those who corrupted mankind." An old hag is speaking in the middle of the street. Mizu looks at her with a serious look, and he gets a flashback of a man carrying a large sword he walks over towards her as she cowers in fear "Where can I find them?" Mizu asks the old hag "There is a wise man who runs the library who should know everything you need to know. Seek him out and your answers shall be found." She states. "Be weary wolf-demon, you and that pack of demons you have there have a strange aura about you, I sense nothing but death and destruction in your wakes." She points. Kaze and the group head towards the clinic Kaze was treated at before his wild day in Lazar, they stop by and see the nurse as well as the priest that helped them and thank them. They explain the situation to the priest and he then tells them of a tome within the Lazar library that can help them figure out where they need to go. "Let's go to the library, we may be able to find something there." Mizu says as the group follows the priest and is shown where the library is.
