Chapter 133 - Chapter 131

AN: Time to catch back to Gabriel which I left hanging.)

After much delay, Gabriel finally returned to Kuoh. This time with Michael.

At first, Michael questioned how Gabriel was going to find this youth she claimed to possess the Light of their Father. However, oddly enough or perhaps it's to be expected. The boy can be found in the same park.

The boy, dressed in an odd fashion compared to others, a black leather rain suit without the hood on with a black short sitting on a swing while munching on some strawberry flavored pocky sticks and staring absentmindedly at the void. His legs freely hang due to his short height and swing lighty back and forth. But then the boy turns to them in a sudden as if noticing their presence despite the two placing concealment magic on themselves.

"Oh, the sister that tried to kidnap me returned. With another kidnapper too." He noted boredly but also teasingly in his expression that Michael noticed but not his airhead angelic sister, Gabriel.

"No I am not!" Gabriel quickly denies and stomps her feet a few times which is rare since Gabriel rarely projects her negative feelings outward since the death of their father, much less frustration. But perhaps that is the testament that Gabriel already sees the boy as their father, at least in her unconscious mind.

"I was just joking, sister. No need to take it seriously." The boy said with a lazy smile and his hand reached for the pocky box only to find it empty which left him sighing and throwing it away.

But what happened next shocked Michael. The box disintegrated seemingly into particles of energy which dissipated near instantly as another new box appeared in his hand. Then without a change of expression, he opens the box and fishes out another one that he slowly nibbles at before he turns back to looking at him and Gabriel.

"So, what do you two angels want? Just a friendly reminder though, I am not her father or the father she claimed I am to be since I myself am a child if you consider my age. Although, I wouldn't say no if she insisted." The boy said and shrugged before offering his pocky which Michael respectfully raised his hand to decline while Gabriel curiously took one and tried it.

"Since you are already aware of what we are. I will not beat around the bush. I am Michael and she is Gabriel. We are both angels and I am the current acting leader of the Angel and Heavens Faction." Michael said, which the boy nodded as a gesture of understanding. "You have a peculiar presence and power. The same power as our Divine Father, the Biblical God."

The boy raised his hand to ask Michael to pause which he did.

"Wait, let me guess. I have this similar power as your Father and now you people think I am him?"

Michael shook his head. "No. Not just similar. But the exact same one. I would never mistake my Father's Light." Michael said solemnly.

"So… what now? You're gonna drag me to heaven and make me god?" The boy munched uncaringly as he replied with an expression shifting back to boredom. "Then what next? Using me to fix your faction's problems? No thank you. I am perfectly content with my current carefree life and freedom. I wouldn't dip my toe in that swamp of a mess even if you could pay me to."

Michael couldn't argue with the boy's point. The boy being the reincarnation of his Father aside, he couldn't and wouldn't force someone to shoulder his burden unwillingly. Much less a young boy into a hot mess like the current state of the Biblical Factions that are technically still at war and only paused due to a ceasefire that will be torn apart if other factions found out Biblical God had returned. The boy will be the public target for everyone that would want to kill him to restore the delicate balance that the three factions sat at currently.

While outwardly, the boy could very possibly be the reincarnation of Biblical God with his unique Light and power of creation even though seemingly mundane. But inwardly, he truly is a child although with wisdom and intelligence beyond his age which Michael attributed to the clairvoyance of the Biblical God.

Even if it's a small chance, Michael is willing to bet on it. As selfish as it is, Michael is willing to do anything to bring the boy back to Heaven. The future of his kind and Heaven lies on the boy if his assumption is true about him being the reincarnation of his Father.

"Even so, I beg you. Just for once. I need your help. If you truly are my, our Father. Please grant us even a small trace of your compassion. The Angels are heading towards the path of extinction. Our followers, your believers, are suffering on each and every passing moment. All I would ask for is just this once, help me repair the Heaven's System you left behind. Please help me repair your distorted faith." Michael gets down on his knees and begs the boy which elicit a small response from him even if it's merely a raised eyebrow. Gabriel also joined her brother kneeling on the ground.

"You know, how could you be so sure that I am the Biblical God? I could really just be a pretender that is playing a prank on you two." The boy said as the 'Light' that the two perceived suddenly flicked and vanished.

However, Michael is not wavering.

"Even so, I am willing to bet. I would like to preserve my Father's legacy. I wouldn't let it end in my own hands. For that, even if I have to ask for help from an outsider, I am willing." Michael insisted on the ground, kneeling deeper as his head grinds with the ground.

After a long silence, Michael and Gabriel are surprised by the sound of a finger snap. The sound isn't what shocks them. But what happened after that, did. It was an indescribable feeling but Michael who is personally tied to the Heaven's System felt it the most.

The constant buggy Heaven's System that is filled with errors suddenly runs smoothly and all the previous bugs and errors that plagued him seem to vanish into thin air. The faith of Christianity finally flows smoothly into the System and automatically answers their prayers in the form of guidance or miracles like Biblical God once did among many more that is brought by the benefits of the Heaven's System running smoothly.

Before the two could lift their heads to thank the boy, he already vanished and left behind the echoes of his voice.

"Be thankful I am bored and want something to alleviate my boredom. Now leave and don't return to bother me anymore. Also, Asia happens to require a peer as a friend so I'm taking Xenovia Quarta as payment for my help."

(An: Aight, boring chap. I know but this small arc needs a conclusion. Also, as much as I want to mind breaking and corrupting Gabriel and making her Ray's seedbed. Xenovia is better, right?
