With a completely overhauled position, Ellianor held Testament with both hands, the blade shimmered with a red haze, a want for bloodshed that reverberated through his arm.
FEED ME
A voice came from the blade, intertwining with his thoughts and mind as naturally as his breath. It was not natural and he felt, but for the time being, he would do the sword's bidding.
'I already had a voice in my brain, no reason to doubt your existence.' The glimmer of the red intensified as Kissenn drew her own two blades. Her gaze locked on the beasts.
Ellianor stared at her with a question in his mind.
"Now that I think about it, can you absorb those things energy like how you did with the abomination?"
Kissenn crooked her head to the side.
"I hadn't done anything…" It was a concerning answer, maybe Ellianor was going crazy, or it was the doing of something else.
The red shimmer from his blade was more in line with what he saw.
'Feed you…' The best answer he had was that the blade fed on death and carnage.
"Alright, get my back, and I get yours." Teamplay was not Ellianor's forte, but he had to make it due.
The knowledge implanted in his brain had to make do.
With a nod, Kissenn was the first to advance against the zombies, focused on trimming their numbers before facing the bigger monsters.
Her blade shone a pinkish red as she continued to kill the mindless zombies, the other creatures focusing on her first since she had made the first move.
There was no time to ask what that energy was, even if she remembered, so Ellianor thought on his feet.
Ellianor moved in to have her back as he said he would, the mockery of an angel jumped in her direction, its claws and spiked limbs open in an attempt to slash at her, yet what it met was the biting stone of Testament, that clashed against its limbs.
With one push of Testament, one of the monster's spiked limbs was cut, and an inhuman and unnatural howl echoed out of its malformed mouth.
Ellianor pushed his blade forward in an attempt to kill the creature.
Before the blade could connect its allies, the mutated and other mockery of angels jumped into the fray, it forced Ellianor's eyes to dart back and forth from the monsters, his footing, and the space around him.
One creature tried to hit his position with a whip-like arm, its movements serpentine as if the limb was a separate creature from the body.
An "angel' came running, its limbs pushed forward like a spear.
The one monster Ellianor had just cut the limb off did not waste time, it joined the attack immediately, another mutant tried to flank him, but its mutations gave it a spider-like appearance with bladed limbs.
One last glance was cast Kissenn's way to gauge her position and where Elliamnor should dodge to avoid giving her problems.
There was no good option to dodge those monsters without adding space for them to attack Kissenn.
Ellianor resigned himself and leaped back, his hand held on Testament in a way to try and defend his body from the brunt of the attacks.
The monster's attack fell flat on where he was, it pierced through the floor.
The whip-like appendage however was trickier, it changed movements after Ellianor, it attacked his side, blowing away part of his clothes as it landed a nasty gash on his side.
The mutant with bladed limbs did a cartwheel, its limbs cut across the floor as the creature aggressively advanced against Ellianor.
With a swift movement of Testament, the creature was cut in half by its own momentum as it clashed against the sone blade.
That was not the end, however. The monsters were already upon him shortly after the bisecting of the mutant.
Tentacles came from their ugly mouth, their limbs stretched forward to grab and slash him.
Ellianor moved away as his blade's shimmer intensified.
FEED ME MORE, I REQUIRE MORE AND MORE! FEED ME!
It demanded more, Ellianor would give it more. An angel managed to hit his shoulder with one of its spiked limbs, it pierced through the upper area of Ellianor's left shoulder, a literal whole blown through the flesh and bone.
It only took an instant as a sharp pain was registered by his system, and blood flowed from the shoulder, and onto the blade. Like a possessed weapon, Testament moved on its own.
The blade pierced the monster across its vertical mouth, and then up and down before it forced Ellianor's hand to move away, the creature's corpse thrown against a wall as it became ash.
Ellianor felt his shoulder burn as the other angel and mutant advanced, and more came from behind them, alerted by the commotion.
KILL, SPILL THEIR BLOOD! OPEN THEIR GUTS! I WILL HELP! JUST KILL!
The blade's speech was more articulated, and clearer in his head. It demanded more blood, but it didn't cared what was the source as long as blood was shed.
Ellianor's left arm started to lose strength because of the whole blown through it.
Holding Testament with both hands was no longer an option, so Ellianor swapped to a hand grip, the blade's veins jumping and throbbing, a grotesque appearance given to the stone blade.
From his side, a blade pierced through his damaged shoulder. Elliianor looked at his side to see Kissenn, all zombies were cleaned, but her blade's tip was embedded in his arm.
"Sorry about that, but something inside me tells me it will work, so trust me!"
The blade groaned in his mind, as Ellianor felt no pain come from his shoulder. Rather, it started to numb it completely.
From the tip of her blade, a cherry-blossom red energy flowed out, it numbed his pain, as part of the wound there was closed.
Kissenn retrieved her blade, there was not even a hole. "How you did that?" The black-haired man was sure it had to do with the energy that came from her blade earlier.
"I don't know, I just did. Besides, we have something else to worry about."
