A few minutes before another near-death experience.
I opened my eyes after a long sleep and saw Poppy lying beside me with a smile on his face. I sighed and turned to the other side, not feeling like waking up.
"Do you want to go somewhere fun?" he asked, turning me to face him.
"I want to sleep," I replied, closing my eyes.
"But you'd be interested," he said, putting his head on my chest. It's weird how we suddenly got to this level after that big fight.
"What is it?" I asked, opening my eyes.
"You said I shouldn't take you sixty feet above the ground, right?" he asked, and I nodded slowly. "Then I won't," he continued, still smiling. "But you'd still be riding on my back," he said, and I sighed.
