Dan sat in his office with his hand on his head. The pressure from the Nocturne family was increasing daily, and he didn't know what to do. He didn't want to involve Carmel because he knew how manipulative her grandfather was.
"Dan," Sylphiette called as she dropped the cup in her hand. "Why don't you just give up the child?"
"Do you think Carmel would agree to it?" he asked.
"That's right, but what do you want to do?" she asked, looking at him.
"I have no idea."
"Then should I take the child? They won't be able to take the other because her Percando side is dominant, but if the child isn't here, they would have nothing to fight for," Sylphiette suggested.
"That is a solution, but…" Dan was saying but got interrupted.
"I vowed not to get attached to any human again, but it won't hurt if I'm helping the family of a friend," she said.
