"Is this it?" Sylphiette asked, looking at the spells I picked out.
"Yes," I said, and she went through them again. She dropped one on the table and glared at me. What now?
"What?" I asked.
"This one uses teleportation techniques," she complained. You've got to be joking with me. Is that really why she's angry?
"I don't have a lot of options here, Sylphiette," I stated, and she rolled her eyes.
"You remember the other means of creating magic circles that I taught you, right?" she asked, and I nodded. "You'll use that to test all of them. Since you don't have any skills, it's your best option," she said mockingly. I scoffed and crossed my arms over my chest. "Remember that you have to be careful so that it works how you want it to. You can't make a single mistake," she warned.
"Okay."
"I won't be helping you with this, so good luck," she said, dropping the papers in her hand and turning to leave.
