I opened my eyes and was met by a pair of silver eyes. Should I scream? Why is he here? I almost jumped out of my skin from shock.
"You scared me," I said drowsily as I stood up.
"Sorry, I couldn't stop staring," he said, and I paused. Huh?
"Why are you here so early?" I asked.
"To see you," he said. Something is off.
"Okay," I replied as I rang the bell.
"You're going to see the duke later today, right?" Poppy asked.
"Yes, after breakfast," I said.
"Okay, I'll be here," he said, lying on the bed.
"Didn't you say you were busy before?" I asked as Millie walked in.
"I dropped my work," he said nonchalantly. This is the person whose name I'm not allowed to mention.
"So you're slacking. Won't your work just pile up?" I asked.
"It might," he said. What's wrong with this dragon today?
"Did something happen between you two?" Millie suddenly asked.
