Lilyanne was sitting in her room, staring out the window absentmindedly, when her maid walked in. She cleared her throat before speaking.
"My lady, I thought I should tell you," her maid started, but Lily didn't react. "The barrier has been lifted," she said, and Lilyanne turned to look at her.
"And my sister?" she asked.
"She's in her room. I don't think she knows," the maid said, and Lily frowned.
"Thank you for telling me," Lily replied with a smile.
"I... It's nothing," the maid said, and bowed before walking out.
Lilyanne moved quickly and cast a circle of magic to teleport herself to the capital.
Lilyanne stood outside Jupiter's mansion, her heart racing with anticipation and uncertainty. She took a deep breath before walking up to the grand doors and raising her hand to knock. The heavy oak door swung open slowly, revealing a maid who regarded her with polite curiosity.
