Chapter 94 - Beast horde 4

"Hey, what are you floating there for, come help me" he said to Owen. The reason why he hadn't called Owen since was because it would be taxing to keep Owen out of the influence of the crushing while also keeping the beasts under the influence.

Meanwhile, Back with Owen the moment he dragged back all the bloodline holders and before Adam multiplied the gravity the people he held started losing composure.

"What..what the hell" a soldier shouted as he felt his body being dragged against his will. Similar to him, all the others started clamoring and panicking.

"Oi, shut up will you?, You're breaking my focus, anybody shout again and I'm dropping them to the ground!!" Owen threatened.

"We came to help you guys, so instead of panicking the least you can do is shut up and watch the show" he said as he gestured to Adam. And just on cue, they watched as the over 1200 beasts suddenly face planted on the ground.

"What the hell!?" The soldier who was referred to as captain exclaimed as he saw the beasts they were struggling to fight with their lives on forfeit easily subdued in less than a second. And he wasn't the only one feeling that way, so were the other people around him.

The major was also inwardly shocked but didn't show it on his face after all to have become a major, one had to have at least have composure. Sure he was shocked that the beasts he was about to die fighting were being easily subdued, sure the one subduing them was a boy who was like sixteen or seventeen years old but it didn't warrant him to break composure.

They watched as Adam dealt with the gold ranks before turning to Owen and shouted "Hey, what are you floating there for, come help me". Hearing that Owen gently let the people he was holding down and blurred towards Adam and the beasts but shyed just ten meters away as that was the point from which the gravity multiplied.

"Thought you'd never ask" he grinned as his storage ring glowed a bit before a sleek immaculate dagger appeared in his hand.

"I'll release the gravitational weight but you'll have to keep a telekinetic wall around us and the beasts" Adam said.

"Why would I do that!?, do you have any idea how much energy I expended by keeping all those people afloat?" Owen protested.

"Who told you to keep them afloat? All I said was to drag them backward. And if you don't then all the beast would just spread in all directions making our work harder" Adam countered.

"Fine but if it starts to get too taxing, I'll remove it" Owen agreed.

"Now I'll ease up the gravity between us, that'll make a path for you to come closer to me without being affected" Adam said as he proceeded to lower the gravity of said area, it was a little taxing but he did it nevertheless.

Soon Owen was beside him, "I'm doing it now" Owen said as he made a translucent wall surrounding them and the beasts.

"I'll take left, you take right" Adam said as he instantly released the crushing and acted on the fact that the beasts were still disoriented and swiftly ealt with those close to him.

"Not even a heads up" Owen grumbled before a grin appeared on his face as he punched a beast that lunged at him square in the head, he could even hear it's skull crack.

Soon as the beasts, particularly the more intelligent ones started going out of their stupor and then.....there was no then, chaos engulfed the battlefield, two death reapers bringing carnage to the beast.

Adam was a dominant force on the battlefield, his skills completely outmatching the mindless beasts. He was making short work of the beasts mostly in one strike.

When the beasts on his side became too much to handle at the same time, he kicked a beast backwards before stretching both his hands to his side and muttered "quake pulse".

"BOOOM!!!" an inconceivable energy burst from his from and pushed all the beasts around him at least tens of meters away. Adam smiled at that fact, he had come a long way since the time he first used 'quake pulse'. Unlike before he could control it's range.

Owen was no slouch either, using his telekinesis, he levitated a particularly sturdy beast and was using it like a bowling balll, hitting any beast mindless enough to come close to him with considerable force, more than enough to kill most in one hit and if his weapon, that is the beast he's using gets too mangled, he would simply pick another one.

Meanwhile while Adam and Owen were massacring the beasts, the soldiers and other bloodline holders were marvelling at the fact that they made it look so easy.

"How can they make it look so easy!?" The toned woman who was with the captain expressed.

"Ahh, geniuses I tell you, they're on another level, most likely brats from some big clan or family" the captain lazily remarked.

"Life really isn't fair, others get to have powerful bloodlines, while others get some rundown one. I once saw someone whose bloodline ability was a good singing voice. Like seriously how can people like that compare to monsters like this!? A bloodline holder who volunteered venten his frustrations.

Even the major was in awe. He'd seen countless prodigies, but he was pretty sure these two boys were part of the top dogs.

Meanwhile while the people behind them marvelled at their strength, Owen and Adam were getting tired.

"Damn after this I'm eating a city worth of food!" Owen exclaimed as he gutted a beast.

"Stop complaining and quickly finish them, so we can have some moment of respite" Adam chided. Since they started their massacre, he had noticed that a few beasts were still coming now and then further from the wastelands and they looked frenzied. It was like they were being chased away by something.

Adam knew something was wrong and he was going to find out what it was. So he focused on quickly finishing this wave of beasts. Then suddenly he heard a commotion from behind him. He turned towards the city and saw a blue colored shield flickering before it turned translucent.
