Chapter 25 - Elevator Encounter

**Adam Walker's POV**

So it's decided the name of this ability is 'Materiokinetic Warping', the ability to warp matter.

After naming my new Ability, I left the lake to head back to the dorms as dusk was already fast approaching.

The area around the dorms was bustling with cadets, as even though most of the shops around were run by robots, there were a few that were run by humans.

I decided to get some food before entering my room, so I went to the same restaurant we were when we got attacked by the Asuras.

"Hello, what would you like?" a red haired beautiful young lady who looked like she was in her late twenties asked.

It was one of the places run by humans instead of robots.

"I would like some ....", I told her what I wanted and in less than a minute she had packaged it.

I paid for the food, it was eleven points all together and speaking about points I really got to get more, because my points have dwindled down to one hundred and twenty points.

Maybe tomorrow after the club selection, I guess I could go hunt some beasts.

"Come again", she said as I began to head out.

I headed for the elevator of the dorm building instead of flying to my balcony like I usually did ever since I learned to fly.

I entered the elevator and pressed the floor number, but just as its doors were about to close, they were stopped by a dainty porcelain like hand.

I recognized who it was as soon as I crossed gaze with a pair of dark amethyst eyes.

Our eyes were locked only for a few moments but It felt like and eternity to me as the pressure I felt from those eyes were unnerving.

It wasn't physical pressure but instead pressure on the spirit, that is spiritual pressure. My eyes fell on her face and oh my god, it was like a flawless porcelain with high cheekbones and a small nose.

In short, her face was that of a celestial goddess, and her body had all the curves where it should be with a thin waist and long slender legs.

I believe God created her like this to punish us men.

Anyways, she simply entered and turned her back to me while facing the elevator's door without saying a single word.

Well it's not like she knows me anyway. The elevator's ascent was exceedingly slow at least from my perspective. I could smell her lavender fragrance as I stood not too far away from her.

'Why the hell is she even using the elevator when she can teleport', I thought but was thrown out of my thoughts as the elevator arrived at my floor.

There was just one problem though, Aurora was standing directly in front of the door.

And I wasn't really someone who knew how to start a conversation so I went with.....

"Ahem Ahem", I faked a cough but it didn't seem to register to her.

'Is she may be lost in thought?' I pondered.

"Ahem Ahem" I coughed again and she finally seemed to take notice of me.

"You, you were the one that managed to defeat a gold rank asura aren't you?", that was the first thing she said to me after I got her attention.

"Yes I am" I replied in a reserved tone.

" Well Just keep in mind that any one of their geniuses at silver rank would be able to take care of him", she said while taking a step to the side.

"I'll keep that in mind" I said as i walked past her and out of the elevator. 'Did she mean that the gold ranked I fought was a trash?'

'Still I kept pondering about why Aurora talked to me, who knows maybe she just wanted to give me a wakeup call'.

I threw it to the back of my mind as I walked over to my room, "ha home sweet home" I exhaled before I went for a nice and relaxing hot bath.

Meanwhile.....

**Aurora De Silva's POV**

I just entered the dorm building and took a turn for the elevator when I saw it doors about about to close, I stopped it with my hand.

I recognized the guy inside the elevator from the incident that happened the three weeks ago and from the reports, he managed to defeat a gold ranked asura while he was at mid silver.

It wasn't that surprising to me considering I could do much more and better than that but

It's worth a complement nevertheless.

Soon I got lost in thought until I heard his fake coughing trying to get my attention and making me realize I was blocking his way out.

I spoke to him and told him the difference between the asura he fought and their geniuses.

He surprisingly took that better than I thought. If it were some idiot, they would act brave to impress me.

I watched as he stepped out of the elevator as its doors closed.

**Adam Walker's POV**

Right now I was with Owen and he wouldn't stop talking about the clubs.

"You know there's the student council, it's like a club and at the same time not, it is like the cadets leading party and displinary comitee so, many cadets want to join it", he said enthusiastically.

"What about you, do you want to join it?" I asked.

"Nah, leading's not my thing, I'd rather live freely without power than live bound with power", he replied.

"Likewise, it's also not my thing, I'd rather use my free time training than leading cadets, it's also not my thing", I said.

"Training, training, training, that's all you know to do and one of the reasons why you can't get a girlfriend apart from your voice which has surprisingly seen improvement", he rambled about.

"It's more like won't not can't , moreover you've been talking about me getting a girlfriend all this time but it's not like you have one" I said.

"Who says I don't, it's more like you don't know her" he scoffed.

"Yeah yeah," I drawled.

"I'm serious you know" he continued with his ramblings.
