**Adam Walker's POV**
I was overjoyed at the increase of my strength that I had the urge to jump in celebration but jumping and pumping my fist up with an expressionless face would be a weird combination.
Now to try those other techniques that instructor Dell talked about but first I would try what I call gyrokinetic flight.
I first enhanced myself with my gravitational field increasing my durability before I started to remove the effects of gravity from my being. My body slowly becoming weightless.
I started jumping and slowly but surely I was lasting longer in the air until it reached a point where I didn't fall to the ground any longer.
I tried to move in the air but it only felt like moving in a zero gravity chamber unhindered but extremely slow.
I tried to move faster but to no avail it took me a while before I realized that unbinding myself from the laws of gravity was not enough to grant me flight.
I thought for a while before I had an idea which was to use my gravitational energy as a propulsion while my body is in a state of zero gravity simultaneously.
I enhanced myself again before reducing my body to a state of zero gravity. My body rose up to about 15 meters before gathering my energy and propelled my body at breakneck speed that was just shy of mach one and if I had not enhanced my body before trying that I could tell I would be in bed for days if not weeks.
The feeling of freedom that came with flying was exhilarating but I had to reduce my speed to around 700 mph from the 760mph.
Eventually I had to reduce my speed to gain better control and learn to evade obstacles.
After about half an hour of flight I came down and tried to replicate some of the abilities I learned about from instructor Dell but the only one I managed to do was floor tilting.
Floor tilting is the manipulation of where gravity pulls matter and at first it was a little hard before I got the hand of it. The only downside was I could only use it in my gravitational field. Now I could make any direction turn to down and vice versa.
Just as I was contemplating this new ability I felt something moving in my body but I didn't panic. I knew what it was my other bloodline the red colored one.
Anytime I increase my rank whether it was a minor or major level this bloodline would move about for a bit before settling down again and nothing seems to change about it.
I trained with my newfound abilities and lost track of time when I realized it was already 9pm.
Today I fly I exclaimed in my mind before moving upwards and flying in the direction of the dorm.
When I was about to reach there I slowed down to reduce the sounds created from the friction between my body and the air.
It took me about five minutes to get there and since it was night and I was about 20 meters in the air none of the cadets who were loitering outside seemed to notice me as I slipped into my dorm room from the balcony.
Meanwhile at the top floor of the dorms building a purple haired girl who was tapping on her smartwatch narrowed her eyes before relaxing back to her calm look but if one looked closer there was what could be assumed to be intrest in them.
"Flight in silver rank, now that's not what you see everyday. Interesting" she muttered before going back to what she was doing.
Starting tomorrow I will be flying to the academic building and back. That's right portals no more sucking my points you point suckers.
If I haven't mentioned it before there are only two ways to get points. One is if an instructor awards you points for excellence in class and two hunting beasts in the surrounding jungles to which your smartwatch will record it and give points just like in the entrance exam.
The next day I woke up around 4:30 am. I freshened and headed to the portal station. I know I said am not going to use it again but that's not realistic I haven't tested the way yet and I want to do it while knowing I won't be late for anything like later today when am heading back to my dorm.
So this is the third to the last time am using this portal. The second to the last being me coming back to freshen up and the last being going back for classes.
I arrived at the combat grounds around 10 minutes before 5 am and just like usual instructor Blake was there but this time the moment I came in he opened his eyes.
"Hmmm You've attained silver rank I see" he said.
"Yes yesterday after classes" I said.
"Good because from today you'll be two hundred of everything" he said and I swear I could see the amusement.
"What really" I asked.
"What?, Not satisfied?, Want to increase it to three hundred? he asked.
"No two hundred it is" I replied before I went to do two hundred pushups, sit-ups and squats each.
After I was done came the martial arts training and before long we had finished not before he traumatized my body though.
"Tomorrow I'll bring the weapon art I told you about" he said right before disappearing.
I went back to my room, freshened up and used the portals to go to the academic building not before cursing the point suckers at least.
Today's first class was math after that the combat class and same as yesterday instructor Blake didn't show up and I forgot to ask him that earlier in the morning.
After lunch I was headed to the last class we were having that day and Owen won't stop pestering me about exchanging our smartwatch codes so he would be able to message me.
" Come on what type of friends don't have each other's messaging and video code".
I ignored him till after the last class but he followed me outside the academic building still complaining and all I said was
" See you tomorrow" before I rose from the ground and blasted towards the north. I could only guess the expression on his face.
Meanwhile back where Adam left Owen, he stood still with a dazed expression before muttering "Gold rank?".
